This one is pretty little compared to my recent few heads, such made it a little more challenging

I like it 👍 what do you think ? I can’t tell if it’s an improvement from the pink one that showed progress or not …the eyes could be better they bother me a bit, but I did the lips a different way than usual and I like how they turned out

Trying my first detailed sculpture and looking for feedback

I’ve been practicing sculpting for a while and recently started working on a more detailed piece. I’m trying to improve things like proportions, surface details, and overall form. I’d love to hear any feedback or tips from more experienced sculptors on what I could improve or focus on next. Always looking to learn and get better.

I think this is more maintenance than improvement, it’s okay

Except for maybe the sides/back of head which are making me think I may have a bit of same-face-itus going on …how do I address that ?

Forgot about texture ..I want to see if i can have a string of relatively nice-looking sculpts before adding more details to pay attention to, especially with this fimo soft which doesn’t want to hold detail for me …but I have been looking into ways to make pores on the “skin” of the doll head …I think I’d like that

I would love some feedback on my Trex ! Specifically about eye & ear placements, and maybe lower jaw muscle thickness .

Best approximation for North light?

I greatly value North light for illuminating my work area- but the Sun don't always shine. I wonder if any of you have managed a serviceable approximation with a diffused LED array, softbox, or whatnot, and what you do and don't like about your lighting set up. Thanks for your consideration.

I think the eyes are more symmetrical on this one than any of my others ..

I think it’s an improvement but I find the face sorta boring 🤷‍♀️

Help

Okay, so im making a Sackboy sculpture for myself to stay inside. I used spray foam to get the shape i wanted and now i gotta look for something to hard coat over him and fill the air bubbles. What i came across was this "Durham's Rock Hard Water Putty." Has anyone worked with this to know if its okay to use or even durable enough to last? It says it wont shrink but i dont want to waste my time or sculpture for something that wont work

Coloring acrylic - HELP!

Making a giant egg light. I have a clear acrylic dome that I have frosted the inside of. Wondering how you would all recommend coloring the yolk orange while keeping it semi-translucent as well as streak free? Thanks!
