Housing
Anyone also looking for housing?
I’m planning on transferring to SCSU this fall after two years at Saint Paul College. Looks like prices for staying in the dorms might not be worth it.
Reach out if you’re looking for a roommate and maybe we can connect.
Also if anyone has any advice on where to stay, what’s worth it based on their experience, etc. that’s greatly appreciated!
I’ll be going for Electrical Engineering starting in August

Confusion regarding minimum requirements for Undergrad graduation
Good afternoon, final semester, final 2 classes - low and behold they're both math courses. This is not my strongest subject, my concern is I may not be able to hit a C for the course but wanted to know since this is my last class for my undergraduate degree, would a D suffice? The goal of course is not a D, but just need to know I can still graduate and get my diploma if I receive a D in my final class. My GPA is above 3.4, and i am not taking my last 2 as prereq courses.
TLDR - Can I still graduate and walk if my last 2 classes end as a D for a grade? Classes are Calc and Linear Algebra

Looking for Carpool / Commute Buddy
Hello everyone!
I was recently accepted into the MS in Communication Disorders program for Fall 2026. I currently live in Eden Prairie, MN, and as of now, I’ll be attending classes every Monday and Wednesday starting August.
I wanted to see if anyone else is commuting from a similar area and might be interested in carpooling. If you have a similar route or schedule, please feel free to reach out!
Thanks in advance :)

is st. cloud really that bad?
i'm attending scsu for grad school this fall. i've been reading a bit and it seems like people don't really like st. cloud and it's not very safe. is it really that bad? where are the safer places to live? im freaking out a little bit about it but looking for the truth, not empty reassurance.

Anyone taken Physics 1 at SCSU?
Basically the title. I'm curious to know how much easier it would be at SCSU than taking at the UMN and how much harder it would be than taking at a minnstate community college. And if yall have any good professors teaching it this summer. Ima be commuting an hour every morning (yes, that's how much I'm scared to take it at the U), is it worth it? Thanks.

Crazy Religious guys next to Garvey?
Has anyone seen the two catholic guys recently?
One of them advertises the one religious science club, blasting music and scripture and the other one has the “PORN” hat and tells you you’re going to hell
I was a student last semester and they were always in that area, god I hope I’m not crazy

My daughter is considering SCSU for biochemistry over U Conn. The price is really good, but do the students get support with internships, job interviews, etc. from the school? Do the students get lots of lab time with professors? Any input is appreciated.

Transferring to SCSU
Hello All,
I am looking for some help for Fall 2025. I am currently a freshman at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I came to college wanting to go pre-med; however, I found my interest in accounting and business all around. I am currently stuck at UMN in biology, and I stand a low chance of getting into the business school here. I am looking at transferring to SCSU for accounting. Is this a good choice? Any tips? Everything is appreciated as I am a first-gen student and truly have no idea what is going on (lol)!

Anyone in/know about the BS in Software Engineering online program
Hello. I was looking to possibly enroll into Saint Cloud Universities BS in software engineering online program and was looking for those who are in it or have the degree to give me insights. How are the professors and classes. How much time are you spending doing class work and is it possible to have a full time job while doing it? Is the program covered by the North Star scholarship if not how have you funded it, especially if your a non-traditional student.
If anyone is or has been in the program could you possibly answer a few questions? Thanks.
