Hey all! I’ve been working on a game for the last two years called Drawchemy. It lets you draw, build, and create things to solve open ended challenges. Whatever brush you draw with has its own properties and effects!

Scribblenauts was a really special game to me growing up. I always loved the open ended nature and experimentation from it. I wanted to play it homage in my first ever solo game project.

Even through the Scribblenauts series is very nostalgic and one of my favorites, I was always terrified by any living objects and would avoid spawning them. The way they hop around as if they're possessed totally creeps me out. If I saw something do that in real life, I'd run screaming.

Living objects in other franchises tend to have limbs and/or faces, or something that makes them seem like they could actually be alive. But in Scribblenauts, even a mannequin, which has arms and legs, moves by hopping around.

Anyone else feel the same way, or am I just a scaredycat?

Just fiddling with object editor today. I want to try to make my object attacks animals, but not pets or humans, just like a hunter. My current attempts are:

1. Just add "destroy animals" Result: object attacks humans and pets
2. Try to fiddle with negating filters. Result: no such negation exist. I've tried "not" and "un-"
3. Add "protect human" and "protect pets" before "destroy animals". Result: object stops attacking them, but there is an additional behavior that they will protect them.

Is there any other way to make my object behave more like hunter?

This took like 20 minutes to make but it does work.

I just wanna know so because I really want to play with all the new content in both games on my PC but I don't know if it's on the Steam versions.

These aren't really "recent" because they're all from last year and the year prior, but they're made after Mega Pack's heyday so it's recent enough. Aside from the first image, which is the most recent and made on my Switch copy of Mega Pack (during which I managed to change my shop name because the servers were somehow up at that point,) everything else is made on the Steam release of Unlimited.

It's been a while since I've used the object editor. I'd be pretty rusty, but...maybe it would be fun to form a little community again like back in the "Scribbler" days on Miiverse :D Maybe even usher in a new era, new ways to use the game as a canvas and a tool for creation, teaching others tricks of the object editor, etc.

I’m playing the switch edition of scribblenauts and I’ve collected what I believe to be every shard and starite. In my menu I’m only missing 1 shard piece and I have manually gone through every level looking for the missing piece and can’t find it
I have also got 217 out of 217 object shards
Is this a known glitch or is there an area that I have missed with a single shard piece or is there an overall starite list that I have just missed?

I've been trying to increase my 3DS collection of games and I've been interested in getting it, but I do want to create a character to play as (I don't hate Max but I like playing as a specific character that I like). I'll probably buy it anyway since it's dirt cheap but I just want to know.
