is it normal to struggle with saying words while fry screaming?

I'm beginner

I've decided to start learning how to fry scream. A couple of questions arise: 1) How do I do it? I watched a YouTube video and tried to scream. I'm getting a lot of popping sounds. Is this right for a beginner? I'm just making sounds by blocking air in my larynx. Also, can you give me any tips on how to do something similar to Eddie Hermida's screams? I like his screams; they're ecstatic.

In school in a random afternoon I was clearing my throat and that reminded me of those coughing method tutorials inorder to activate ur falsecords and i realized i was doing it! I asked some friends for help and i jokingly did cheap blackmetal voicemails, then 2 weeks later i realized I could do highs. I sounded like shit at first but now i believe ive improved and refined it! Need feedback!

Sorry if y'all have seen my other post about this same thing, but couple people have me confused on if this is fry or false cord. I know it's not really supposed to matter as long as it sounds good, but I wanna be able to do gutterals and if I'm doing fry idk if I can do that. Any advice is appreciated!

Hey all! Casual screamer getting back to basics since I just stepped up for vocals in my band. I'm working on getting a really solid set, lots of low and growls along the lines of Randy Blythe and Tim Lambesis. However I find my throat gets rather sore and scratchy after 10-15 minutes. I try to use the minimum amount of air I can to produce the sound, and I at least know I'm not destroying my true folds because my clean singing remains intact with zero hindrances or pain, and resting overnight or even a few hours clears it up. Would love some help diagnosing this!

Just started seriously trying out false chords today and they began hurting after about an hour or so of practice. Just wondering what all the different reasons could be so I can go trouble shoot

This is how I am sounding about 2 months in of practicing false chords… I am pretty happy with my progress but wanted outside opinions and constructive criticism, any advice for moving further into me screaming properly is also very appreciated. Thank you all once again

I lose the distortion a bit here and there, cause im tired lol. Still enjoy how I sound here tho.

I wanna learn how to have good metal vocals cuz I’ve always wanted to start a band but my voice sounds like a garbage compactor so I wanna know what I should do to get better cuz I wanna be able to false cords and all of that but I have no idea how to start or anything at all

I dont know if im doing something wrong but when i try to do a fry scream it feels more easy, i can scream longer and sounds more crazy before the warming instead after the warming. Do i have a wrong technic? What should i do?
