Just a quick model done today tiny bandai falcon kit. This thing has a lot of detail for something this small

I've been working on a series of models (that I'm 3D printing) based upon Star Citizen and the (upcoming) Squadron 42 Video Game. Mostly so far I've been working on the UEES Kruegeri (the flagship), next comes a few escorts and some super tiny fighters to fill up the display case she goes into (there's obviously still room in there). I can't claim to have anywhere near the skill level some of you guys have on here, but I think she turned out pretty good!

My collection of kits by bandai so far. I love building these there a far cry from building the old AMT kits from the 80s 90s wich i still love to build.

Scaled to 1/350 (7.6cm) and 1/800 (3cm).

Had some fun with the smaller ones and painted them in the original Dinky diecast colours.

I am a 70 year old who has started model building again. I was a fan of the Aurora kits, monster and si fi ships like Voyage to the bottom of the sea, and others. Two questions, because things have changed a lot since I was 12. I have an air brush now, and so many different paint choices.

First, regarding primers, (which I have discovered make a big difference in the finish). They come in white, gray and black. Is the choice dictated by the color going over it?

Second, (picture attached), I need to paint this very small part and just wondered if I use the paint shown, and use a brush, should it be thinned and if so what would be the preferred method? I know I might be a bit anal, but I trying my best to be meticulous. Thanks for any advice.

I made the first phaser years ago, sold it, wanted to replace it and make another but sometimes, less IS more. Its a nice build, but the old one still feels a bit more special. What do you guys think, which is cooler?

This is one of my newer anti-gravity vehicles, that are not in the collage photos, I posted. This is similar to a Indy Race Comp, when they have a pacer car leading the group...

My (almost) completed Bandai 1/12 Boba Fett.

Just waiting for his Cape to dry and then can weather it. But I'm happy with how he's turned out.

Doing the air speeder at the min ! Went for a battle damaged look with weathering still some way to go with it

Another new build done this year.

Today I finished the lasertank from scratch.

I painted the model black at first, then I added a layer white and at least I made a bit grey foggy pray very little bit, to make the white dirty.

The effect was great. The last step are the labels and stickes.

Finally got 3d printed Aloy so calling this diorama complete!

I have a few older ones and newer ones, I just completed.

Today I glued a lot of small stuff on the surface of the lasertank. Now it is ready for coloring.

I am not sure at the moment in which way I do the weathering. This is actual status.
