Why do places like instantcheckmate have this incredibly long pause while the progress bar plays off as IF it's actually collection your information (when in fact that information takes a split second to locate and display)... I mean do they think this will make me believe they're more legit?
If anything the long wait makes me close the window lol

Our community DnD group “Dungeons and Dragons (D&D for Memes)” has been compromised. There’s now 4 new Admins and Moderators and they have limited what you can post “and there’s another one that’s not a mod or admin”. Meanwhile, they are posting story clickbate with links to who knows where. The community has been losing members by the day since this started. When messaging them they offered to sell the page to me. I’ve pretty much given up all hope of removing them and returning to page back to normal. So I just made a new page for people to rejoin. “Dungeons and Dragons (D&D for Memes) [NO BOTS]”

So I was wondering if you guys could help me get rid of them, if we report them enough they will get removed and the page will give me an option to be the admin. Or if you know of any other way to have them relinquish control or any methods at all would be appreciated.

I’ve never clicked anything in the email itself and always just reported as spam, they always have these ridiculous titles and in the last couple weeks I get at least 3-4/day in my priority inbox instead of spam. This is the first time I’ve actually opened one to grab the screenshot. Is there anything I can do on my end to stop these or make sure they actually go to my spam folder?

These numbers called me at the same time, expect for the one that did two hours before. The first one was silent and disconnected, other ones I didn't pick up.

Numbers were from italy, netherlands and greece.

I’m just wondering because my account [u/Yoda2820](u/Yoda2820) had apparently getting reported because of some hacker with the same name who apparently also scammed ＄20,000 from people and I need to know if my account is at genuine risk of getting stolen and also is the other dude trustworthy as well? I’ve summited a request to get my account back and all I can say is that I’m waiting, also I reported the discord dude for scam and fraud and I’ve changed every password I know of that shared to same password so they can’t access anything else

Yesterday i attended an interview at a company in muttom and the next day the hr/recruiter is asking adhaar card,pan card and salary slips when I asked why he said its to get approval for Manager he doesn't even say if I am selected or shared any offer letter what should I do is it safe

I have checked the company website and socials seems legit but the company is in a co working space do scammers rent such places?

My wife purchased a fragrance diffuser and a fragrance online. The next day she was called by a salesperson who identified himself as Hotel Collection/ Aroma 360. He began asking her questions about our home, square footage, etc. in order to try and upsell. My wife became uncomfortable with this, and firmly said that she wanted the products she ordered, and nothing more. The sales person said he'd put the order on hold until they could discuss further.

At this point, my wife loops me in, and I reach out to simply say we're not interested in any additonal products, and to please ship what we purchased. The scummy sales person, who identified himself as, Dennis, begins rattling off objections, asking me to explain my logic of not taking advantage of their deal, etc.

With nothing esle to be said, I responded:

"Sir this is a diffuser and fragrence. This isn't car sales. I don't have to explain anything to you regarding the purpose of my order. Ship what I ordered, or cancel the order. I have no obligation to discuss my residence, or any information with you."

He then says he does not have the ability to cancel on his end. The last thing I got out was:

"If this isn't resolved by the end of this call, I will have this disputed with American Express within the next 5 minutes." He responded "Thank you sir, and have a great day!" *click*

I filed a FTC complaint (reportfraud.ftc.gov). Pushy sales people are one thing, but literally holding my order hostage and saying you can't cancel it is another.

I'm still laughing at the urgency and seriousness in which this guy was trying to upsell diffuser fragrances.

Do not purchase from these companies. I'm reporting them in just about every possible way I can so that nobody else has to go through this.

I got 2 DMs from people saying they mistook me as another account and got people to spam report me and now one person is telling me to contact support about this. Is any of this legit?

Randomly messaged by him and def feels like a scam, i checked þe account of him, 11m wiþ only 7 karma, and 10 contributions, he also is only active in 6 random Christianity subs and one sub i mod ( r/Enrique_sub ) , never seen þis man, if he says anyþing more i will post in comments

Hello, my boyfriend got contacted by a very obvious scammer to draw his face on Instagram. I’m an artist , I know this stuff. But the difference, they sent actual money. 500 dollars to his account.

I’ve never seen this before. Once again I’m an artist. I told him not to even touch the money.

I posted these screenshots in a different sub bc I had really thought someone was impersonating me, and I was asking abt where to post abt being “impersonated” little did I know it was a scam. Hood thing I blocked this person after they asked for my age bc(I don’t rlly remember bc I didn’t screenshot this) this person that’s ALLEGEDLY impersonating me could be dangerous bc I’m a minor and he’s jmoersonating me while scamming people. Applied for a quality control position on Indeed and got this email a few days later.

I’m not planning on following up with them but what’s the scam? who would pay someone four thousand dollars a month plus bonuses to work 10-15 hours a week? redirecting packages?

I received this flurry of emails today, all supposedly from Walmart. The email is mine, but the name, address, and card used isn't.

The only reason I don't think this is just an incorrectly entered email is that they used a nickname for my name in my email address as the first and second name. So, if my name was Richard, it would be Rick Rick as the full name.

Is this a scam or just a weird situation? Trying to figure out if I need to email Walmart or not.
