Found this sweet angel on my morning walk in Union Hill! Anyone have any idea who she might belong too?

Dedicated GF and DF bakery in Midlo I’ve been following forever is run by a woman who seems to be having some kind of mental break honestly. She’s claiming her employees are trying to purposefully sicken her, put nails in her tires, that doctors are discriminating against her for being queer phobic, that a hotel pumped a poisonous substance into the air of her room (????) all because she has “differing views”.
She’s always been very vocal (too vocal for a professional page imo but whatever) about being anti-Trump and pro-masking so this just feels like a wild left turn.
Anyway, if anyone else liked her bakery items, maybe steer clear until she gets help or she goes out of business for alienating a bunch of people.

Hi gang,
Found this very big and well behaved boy this morning trotting up Chevelle Drive in North Chesterfield. I put him in our fenced backyard and got him food and water.
We can't bring him inside, so I'll probably try to get him to the county animal shelter this evening. Made a post on Nextdoor and now here.
Open to ideas on what to do next. Luckily I was able to pivot and work from home today.
EDIT - The dog has been picked up by Chesterfield county animal services. He did not have a microchip. They will check their lost dog reports and hang onto him for a few days and if nobody comes forward they will work with local rescues.
Hello! This sweet angel girl was found on Chevelle Road in North Chesterfield at about 3 pm today. Just walking down the road, collar on but NO tags. If you recognize her, or if you have suggestions on where to post about her to get the word out please let me know.
She’s healthy and clearly so loved, want to make sure we get her back home asap!
EDIT: Miss Luna is now home!!! We went back to where we found her to knock on some doors and found her owners desperately searching for her. Thank you to everyone for your advice!!

Hello everyone!
Posting this for my uncle and aunt.
They had found a beautiful husky in their area wandering around Kemp st & Carlisle Ave last night.
The husky has a black collar with no information nor is microchip as well :(. Hoping someone knows the owner or has seen a similar dog in their area.
Thank you!!

I love me a good summer thunderstorm but there's a limit ffs. The ground in my yard is probably going to make squelching noises when I walk across it too.
Heres hoping for a quiet day.

Fully embracing white boy whimsy. I found a crawdad yesterday in a creek after the rain, but no frogs. I’ve never caught a frog as a kid and I would like to. I would ideally like to stay near chimbo park, but willing to travel. Many thanks.

I'll be moving to Grace St. between Ryland and Lombardy next month and had been operating under the assumption that I would be able to purchase a Fan parking permit. However, after checking the city website today, I realized my block is excluded from eligibility.
For those who have experience living in that area as a car owner, what did you do? I believe that block isn't technically 1 hour parking, but it's typically full up so I'd likely have to park on a different block where it is restricted 1 hour parking...but I can't get a permit to park there.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: Thank you for everyone's insights. I have been scared into overpaying for a parking garage.
Helpful info:
- 410 Stuart Circle Garage is still $100/month (as of 7/22/2026) which is expensive and insane, but cheaper than being towed.
- Street sweeping schedules are available on the city website, you don't have to rely only on shitty, often inadequate signage.

Hey everyone!
There's a free show happening tonight with folk-rock band The Potted Plants at Plan 9 Music from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
The band's bio sums up most of what you need to know about them: The Potted Plants fuse whimsy and eccentricity. They write music that makes you think, but not too much. The kind of music that leaves you wondering “Who hurt you?” but also giggling a little like “Nice, at least you made something fun with that.”
For what else you need to know: this band is amazing. Tons of talent that make great melodies, memorable lyrics, and fun grooves. Every song is like an idiosyncratic wonderland of character with chaotic charm (charming chaos?) around every corner. Even if you can't make it out tonight, you should be listening to this band. (But you should really make it out tonight.)
This performance is part of a monthly in-store series at Plan 9 Music in Carytown curated by The Auricular. Music kicks off at 7 PM and typically wraps by 7:30 PM so it's an easy way to start your night or a fun wind down after dinner, depending on your mood. The goal of these shows is to spotlight the amazing local talent right here in our city. They started at the beginning of 2024 and have included singer-songwriters like Deau Eyes, Jonathan Paige Brown Jr., Erin Lunsford, Sravani Kameswari, and Tyler Meacham as well as bands like Rikki Rakki, Human Worm, Flora & The Fauna, Deathcat, and White Beast. Consider it an easy entry point into the local music community. A series that keeps you connected to what's happening right here in town.
Hope to see some of you there!

My bestie and I are going to the Noah Kahan concert in DC. We made postcards to give away featuring local legends. I had to spend a long time convincing her that the Richmond gun hole was a thing.
Included are song lyrics we feel best match each icon.

Hello, all!
I am looking to start a bi-weekly creative writing workshop in August. I only need 5-10 people to show interest... if the following sounds appealing to you please comment and I will reach out!
1.) All members submit a new piece every meeting (poetry, creative non-fiction, an excerpt from a novel you're working on, short story, memoir, etc) that is less than 10 pages
2.) All members print, read, annotate, and reflect on the other members' works before meeting
3.) We meet every other week in a coffee shop or at my apartment (once we get comfortable)
4.) Open the meeting with current reading discussions and light writing prompt
5.) Discuss each others' works, writers ask questions, receive feedback
6.) Chat about life and build community
Looking for preferred members that
- Have an English / CW focus
- Will be active in submitting and responding
- Truly want to build a community of writers and better their craft
If you're down, comment! I'll reach out and we can whip something up soon.

I've got a kid who is sensitive to chicken eggs, and i hear duck eggs are better tolerated. Anyone know where i can find any without driving all over town?

I see Allianz is hiring. How's the culture working there. Do they honor your availability or are you expected to work all the time. Bartenders, y'all make good tips?

I’ve created a new immersive creative experience here in Richmond that combines history, folklore, mad science and art making. Everyone that has participated in the experience has absolutely loved it. I’d love to get a little local press on it.
