Fort Worth - July 11th
Wanted to share a few photos I took at the July 11th show in Fort Worth. Currently using the first as my phone wallpaper. It’s great to see the guys enjoying themselves on stage again (and playing so well to boot)! Thank you to everyone who has shared their pics and stories of the shows they’ve attended. It’s been awesome keeping up with the other tour dates through those posts.

Walking around Chicago
Got here in Chicago this morning and went around to do some sight-seeing, Chicago Institute of the Arts where I saw the actual American Gothic painting plus Hopper's, "Nighthawks"....went to touch sting rays and sturgeons at the aquarium. I wore my Fly By Night t-shirt and ran into a quite a few of you! I have been waiting since October for this! See ya at the show, y'all know who you are!
‘Green and grey washes in a wispy white veil; Mist in the streets of Westminster”
Two great artists use very similar “visuals” to describe London.
Saw Monet’s painting in the Art Institute in Chicago before the 7-20 concert and was struck by the similarity.

Very Excited for Tonight
Going to the UC with my boys (21 and 23) They’ve been Rush fans for about 21-23 yrs now.
Rush tours and life since Presto
Getting ready for my 7th show at MSG next week and was reflecting on past shows and where my life was at the time. Presto was my very first concert at age 15 with friends. Counterparts and Test For Echo in college, celebrated my own 30th birthday with R30, my wife became a fan after the documentary and joined me for Clockwork Angels, we brought our then 7 year old for Dad's 40th at R40.
Now I'm Fifty-Something, on the other side of a brutal divorce and building a new life for myself. Going solo to the concert and celebrating a new chapter with a band that also found a way forward through grief and always modeled persistence in the face of adversity. Glad to have this music as part of life's soundtrack and glad to be part of this great community. See you in NYC!

Discussion Please share just one lyrical excerpt from Rush that you find particularly good, stating your reason
Mine is (and I know Geddy himself changed it from "can't have"): "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."
I like this because it's kind of a Buddhist koan. You can try to reason this idea out ("agnosticism is valid"), but it's more something to chew on leading to mind-expanding thoughts.

Discussion What are yalls favorite intro tracks ??
Kind of an unpopular opinion (not in the way that people dislike it but rather that people love others more) but Animate has to be one of, if not my favorite intro track of theirs. The “one, two, three, four, one, two” and then THOSE DRUMS from Neil are just the coolest. What’s everyone else’s favorite ??
I really enjoy A Farewell to Kings as well
EDIT to clarify I do mean the first song off an album but I’m down to hear people’s favorite first bits of any songs :)
Question Did anyone get a photo of the set list from 7-20? Or better yet, Alex’s Guitar Tech’s list with his guitar names on it? I tried, but my potato didn’t get very good shots. Oh, and here’s a few pics I did get that might be interesting…

Most likely Selling a single ticket for tonight. $148 section 318. Had a all night long PTSD attack and still in it.
I would be able to provide any documentation to prove it's real or my ID and can take a picture of a piece of mail that would match up to my name on my Ticketmaster or anything else.
I am heartbroken. I drove 4 hours to get here yesterday. I am still non stop shaking and haven't slept at all. This is going to kick my ass in many ways if I can't make it.

Question Misprint on hemispheres cd?
Noticed that my copy of hemispheres is missing an S and just says hemisphere. Was wondering if anyone here knows if this is a common misprint/defect. And if it happens to be worth millions haha.
18 years of fantasy football with Rush fans
The league started in 2008 on the "Rush is a Band" blog. And it just strikes me as pretty cool that we're still going strong!

Discussion Bro geddys vocals in atwas
I havent listened to the working man/finding my way medley in many years. His vocals in this part are insane. He was unable to do this just a few years later but this was absolute peak of his screaming era.

Are Rush soundchecks open to fans?
Anyone been to a soundcheck on this tour? Do the people with the vip packages have access to them?

Can I sell my VIP lanyard and bracelet?
Note: this isn’t a post trying to sell anything, just asking if it would be possible to sell the VIP entry on eBay. Not trying to break any rules.
I bought two tickets to a Chicago show and unfortunately could only use one. I sold the other ticket but the VIP stuff didn’t transfer with the ticket. I picked up both VIP packages at the table in the hotel, so I have my hands on a VIP lanyard and unused Xanadu lounge bracelet. In Chicago, I don’t remember them actually checking anything other than that I had the lanyard for early entry, and the bracelet to get into the lounge. I’m wondering if I could recoup some costs by selling my unused package (on eBay, not here) if a) I’m remembering this right and b) anyone can confirm other venues are the same.

Was that Aimee Mann tonight?
For anyone there on 7/22, was that her? Was that a touring vocalist? Was I hallucinating? Did the edible kick in? Looked like her, sounded like her.
Question VIP Package questions
Hello all! I have superconductor package VIP tix for MSG next week, when I bought the tickets it said I would receive an email 3-5 days with information regarding the vip package. For those who have the same/similar tickets, can you lease share what to expect in the email and anything else I should know? (Idk how it would come up but pls no spoilers) TIA!!

Another obnoxious set list question
I went to opening night in Chicago and am looking to go to Detroit or Atlanta. Which night of 2 show cities do we think 2112 will be played in full?
