Looks like 100% steel here to me.

Gemeni is the best hybrid in the park.

Why hasn’t Phoenix been RMC’d yet? [Knoebels]

I seriously don’t get why enthusiasts act like Phoenix is untouchable. It’s an old wooden coaster that beats you up, yet people pretend that’s part of the charm.

Imagine it with an RMC conversion: steel track, wave turns, inversions, insane airtime, and an actually smooth ride. It would be better in every way.

At some point nostalgia has to stop holding Knoebels back. If they announced Phoenix was getting RMC’d tomorrow, it would be the best decision the park has ever made.

There has been an ACTUAL incident on a coaster. The GP may never recover.

Big Dipper at Blackpool Pleasure Beach apparently failed to clear a hill, rolled back, derailed, and damaged supports and the track underneath. No reports of injuries. A few things circulating social media.

But for real with all the pearl clutching this year over basic ride stops... the real injuries are going to be the folks getting hurt rushing to the comments section to tell everyone this is why they don't ride coasters.
