Hey guys, i want to listen to some riddim mixes but i'm usually disapointed by most of the recent mixes i've heard.

I get it double drops are fun but usually the sets are just a bunch of double drops without any coherence, with a break between each ones, i like it but it's a bit boring after a while.

It's not bad, but i would like some actually good DJ that can keep the energy going and make a set with a good evolution and some variations, the same way Aweminus or Midnight T were mixing 10 years ago.

New 1hr 45m long play mix. Lots of new originals, doubles, real riddim, dubstep and a sprinkle of 140. Detailed track list with timestamps in the description of the mix.

Played out two shows midnight on Sunday for a local dive bar and played a good amount of hybrid trap, bass house, and all that, before going heavy riddim for the rest of the sets, 2 1/2 then 3 1/2 hours, had to bring my own setup including table and speakers, but it was hella fun.

For the next show the bartender who’s in charge of the “EDM sundays” asked me to promote it a bit, but A. I don’t wtf I’m doing in terms of promoting I just love the music and B. I feel like promoting something as “EDM” might bring people in who are expecting softer music than riddim, was curious as to y’all’s opinions and/or advice on this situation. Thanks!

basically the title, new to the area from MPLS, we had armory and skyway, but i wanna go to some shows down here, find new artists, and vibe.

I started raving earlier last year, it’s become such a meaningful thing in my life and I love all the people I’ve meant. My first show was atliens- hopping in to ask are they considered riddim artists? And who’s your favorite artist and or song? (Trying to get more karma lol)

I am kinda embarrassed to admit, most of my sounds I make are a simple (not great) sound. Then I just use different spectral effects to get uniqueness. But I feel like it limits me, all of my sounds are just like "throw on plugins"

I made dubstep + random genres for a while but I recently decided to start a riddim alias and I want to use the opportunity to learn a bit more about sound design.

I also don't really have a ton of free time so I feel like being active in a community would be difficult for me
