Meme How 2 different last remixes feel
Overall I like the more laid back Remix 20. I think it fits the game’s vibe very well while Megamix knew it was the last game for a while and went down swinging. This game feels happy to be alive and wants you to be happy and not Clap Trap or Ninja Bodyguard.

Discussion How I personally feel about each of Groove's games and sequels compared to each other

Question Which minigame in Rhythm Heaven Groove do you think has the highest increase in difficulty from version 1 to version 2?
The skill jump from Feeding the Beast 1 to Feeding the Beast 2 was a wild shock to the system for me, especially with how tense the song is!

Discussion 3 2 1 3 2 1 3 2 1 3 2 1
ive just gotten all perfects and i feel so accomplished and i genuinely love this game so much 🥹
buuut.. i feel like they overused "3, 2, 1," as a stopping cue too much... and i understand that it's not that easy to make a good and understandable stopping cue lol, but c'mon..
hop stop n roll (1+2)
backup spotlight (1+2)
sweeper star (2)
soda hop (1+2)
germ aerobics (1+2 (iirc))
high five fever (1+2)
these are all games In my top 10 lol but i just feel like it shouldn't have been the standard stop cue
(also i just now realized this game is the only one that features stopping on keep the beat minigames (I think) so i now realize why they probably made it simple)

Discussion Tips for clearing Beatspell with the Secret Character
Spoilers ahead:
I've cleared the final level with Narra a couple of times and as any of us who have attempted this run knows, it is REALLY HARD. The difficulty primarily comes down to two main factors:
- Narra does not have access to rings
- Narra has way less Willpower than Yu
What this means is that not only is your damage drastically reduced, but you also have way less time to clear. With that said, here are some of the tips I've used to help with people trying to clear this run.
Grab poison as soon as you can. Poison synergizes extremely well with Narra because a.) it's unaffected by a lack of ring and b.) because you're going to be healing yourself a LOT, it continues to do damage as you heal unlike Flame
That being said, it's a good idea to get two extra levels of Heal at least. You don't have flip so you WILL take damage and healing is essential. You want to clear ASAP so having to cast heal only twice to get to full health vs 4 or 5 times makes a huge difference
Try and do the Weirdo enemies as much as possible. Why? Because good items are nice, but more importantly we want to get the spell Amplify. This extremely powerful skill buffs both attack and defense at the same time. It doesn't even need levels, just being level 1 is enough. Not only does make fights faster (since you don't have to heal as much), but it removes the two negative debuffs from the final boss. And trust me, when you're fighting that guy you want to get rid of those as soon as possible.
Limit as much willpower damage as possible. While it might seem obvious, it's easy to get greedy since you're trying to rush through fights as quickly as possible. But getting hit directly by a boss even once is enough to kill your entire run, even if you beat them. Just play it safe with bosses or enemies who like to hit twice in a row since they can catch you off guard.
Keep it simple and use Flame as your main damaging spell. There's a lot of pressure on you during Narra runs. You're fighting the clock, you have to keep uptime on Amplify, Poison, AND you have to keep healing yourself. Flame is easy to use and is very powerful. Don't try to get fancy with Virus or Bolt when you're first trying to clear with Narra. Save that for Yu runs. That being said, grabbing Wave for the fire bosses can save you a lot of time but maybe you can just pray they don't show up lol
For basic items, damage is key. You want your Flame to hit as hard as possible. But if that isn't available, I personally grab one or two healing bonus items and focus on building health. It's just a safety buffer to prevent yourself from accidentally taking direct willpower damage. The medicine that gives you 25% willpower when you get 0% is also really good. You'll be surprised how down to the wire the final boss will be. Also if you get lucky with the boss item that makes poison tick faster, grab it. It's bonkers.
After beating the second boss, prioritize skipping enemies and building willpower. You should have your core spells by now and fighting enemies isn't worth it anymore. You'll need at least 3/4 willpower to fight the last boss and even then that's cutting it close. Stack up as much willpower as you can during this time even if it means forgoing a level or two.
That's all the tips I had, hopefully this helps one or two people clear who've been stuck on this level. If anyone knows any OP combos, feel free to share too

Discussion My (entirely subjective) rankings of how much harder every game in Groove is in Night Mode
I finally beat every game in Night Mode earlier today, so I thought I'd give my thoughts on how much harder I found it compared to getting a perfect normally. I'd also do a similar ranking for getting a flow perfect, but ngl the only game that gave me any trouble in that regard was the first Sneezy Moon
If Pop Don't Drop 2 has one hater it's ME
