Disclaimer: I have no experience with Chris Webby before this. I also listened to the whole thing straight through in one go bc of a long drive
Madhouse: 10/10. Absolutely jumpscared me with Ren howling at the beginning 🤣 It's pure chaos. It's fast, it's crazy, and fun to jam out to and rap along. Kind of an anticlimactic end though.
Instigator: 7/10. Catchy and chill.
Neurodivergent: 9.5/10. Catchy, fast, and fun vocals, classic Ren.
Down The Road: 10/10. Another jumpscare off the bat. Great pacing, and both artists did great with their parts.
Bad Company: 6/10. Chill, but this one didn't really rope me in much.
Asylum: 10/10. Pretty piece, I love the simplicity, and it is a bit repetitive, but I could listen to this on repeat for days. The lyrics really make you think. (Added bonus, no profanity so I can listen to it with my family!!!)
Me And My Monster: 8/10. Absolute bop, even if it's a calmer tempo instrument wise.
Smoking Gun: 5/10. Pretty repetitive. Has good humor though.
Tarantula: 7/10. Like SG, pretty repetitive. The last verse kicks it up a point.
Mason Jar: 7/10. Clever reference to the producer of the album in the chorus. Second half hits hard.
Silence: 9/10. Relateable first line. Pretty fast, good rhymes. F--cking shocking twist. I was expecting it to end like "silence.... sounds so- shut the f--k up" but somehow they went in a completely different direction and made it better.
Dr. Myers: 10/10. Great pace, interesting story that makes you really think about the lyrics like Asylum does.
Caskets: 9/10. Great message, and a good, contemplative addition to the album.
End Of The World: 8/10. A contemplative track yet again, yet with fun humor. Music video is hilarious.
Lunatic Lullaby: 10/10. The electric guitar is pulled out!!! Very serious once the lyrics start. Great thinking song. Chris doesn't get to speak in this track, but Ren absolutely drives the nail home.
