On tiktok I constantly see depraved behaviour from Russian users. Today I saw some creator warning about a Russian ‘meme’ where people are making fun of the way this one boy says stop in a video where he is actively getting raped. (Search up ‘Koch Bratan’ on tiktok, be warned you will hear the audio and possibly see bits of the video.) Half the comments were calling the creator a snowflake for not liking the meme.
My algorithm seems to want to steer me into incel/nationalist content occasionally and I see Russians there be obsessed with gore. I remember a couple months ago there being a small trend of posting dead African babies (‘DNB’) in nationalists posts. Its practically a stereotype at this point of Russians only playing csgo and watching gore on telegram. What causes them to be like this?

Some polished celebrity clutching their chest and waxing poetic about le cinéma, spending a grand total of 15 seconds presenting quips about a dozen films. And they can’t be too deep because it’ll come off as rehearsed but it can’t be too shallow or else it’s lowbrow content

Feels in the same vein as the Hot Ones host and his overly sterile interview questions, something about it just doesn’t convince or entertain me

I’m also not a fan of being made to feel like the guests are speaking directly to me, some of them lean way too into it

I do trust that most** of them are genuinely enthused about the films and I get why people like it, but it all feels like an unskippable ad for the Collection to me

I recently discovered “What’s In My Bag” by Amoeba Music and it feels like Criterion’s format but applied to music, and they run laps around them in terms of entertainment value

A striking number of TRT patients are in their 20s. They tell the doctors they will buy it from India if not prescribed. Most are overweight and do not exercise. After six months, most look exactly the same. After a few years, many look different. Beyond a certain dose threshold, some physiologies just pack on muscle regardless of your physical exertion (see some FTM transformations for reference). though, many look exactly the same after years and years and report some mental health benefits. Many young men on TRT just become even more horny and neurotic. Which is not a great combination.

Former steroid users who want to go “legit.” They proceed to use anabolic doses of self administered TRT and get chastised by the doctors. “Jim, we have to get these levels DOWN.” *prescribes more* frankly, many simply want dat dere prescription grade test.

Men leaving their wives after about six months of continuous use. Think 20+ year marriages with children. A switch flips in the husband, he becomes “cold and distant,” and convinced that a divorce is in their best interest. He is clinical and detached in his assessment about it. Not cheating, according to the wives, but absolutely certain that the marriage needs to end. And it does end. There are many theories about this phenomenon. TRT making the men more assertive, mental clarity, all that.

Women getting microdosed testosterone (HRT) turns them into sex demons that their husbands can’t keep up with. Women in their 50s who cannot recall feeling raw sexuality in their lifetime, become sex obsessed.

On that note, men and women alike are shocked to discover that women do not like when your testicles are the size of peas. At risk of insulting the late Rich Piana, women do not like when the balls “hang high” like a prepubescent boy or completely disappear during the sexual act. There are drugs to grow the balls back during TRT. they come with side effects.

Re: the sexual act, men can still get women pregnant with tiny balls from TRT. There is a myth that you become infertile on TRT. Many men remain fertile. Couples are surprised when they get pregnant.

I don’t have a poetic insight bomb or rsp way to articulate this. But hormone management is more art than science. You can get your blood drawn every single day, and they will still tinker with your respective dosing for a year until figuring out your tolerances. Genetics, body composition play a factor and you don’t know until you try. The range of the clinical norm is huge for most hormones. you can be in the high or low end of “normal” and still feel like absolute garbage. Some live outside those ranges and feel great. There’s also the time delay and hormonal cascade issue. You can’t know the effects of a particular dose for weeks, and that may not affect another system for weeks. so on and so forth.

Many doctors prescribe a “standardized” dose, then prescribe ancillary drugs to mitigate the side effects like wack-a-mole. In my experience, you want somebody who is less “TRT mill,” and more of a tailored experience with frequent follow ups.

In British urban youth culture we have a slang term for this and it's 'begging it'.

In this case it's when someone tells a joke or says something funny, even if it wasn't meant to be hurtful, and some dorks following up by saying things like "damn bruhh you got COOKED! ooooh burnn!!! fucking OWNED yo!!" to try and fit in or vicariously be involved in the supposed 'roasting'.
