Feedback appreciated! Beginner, just got my first kit .

i'm a complete beginner so any advice is welcome!

What do you guys use to clea your tips while woodburning? I have a razertip pen and dont want to mess up my tips. I currently use a combination of fine sandpaper and a copper steel wool ball but the pens screws on the sides that hole the interchangeable tip always get caught. Doesnt work that good. Sandpaper works better but I dont want to mess my tip up over time. Suggestions? I have a brass brush coming in the mail. We'll see how that does

My progress so far on a new piece...

Template made in clip studio paint, printed onto the coated side of freezer paper, pressed onto box to transfer template, and of course, burn it. More burning and painting still to come. 3.5 hours so far.

This set was such a fun challenge!!

This is a Native American done flute I did some wood burning on. Before I was just using a soldering iron, but I decided to finally get a real setup/iron and what a difference it makes! This is super fun!
