My Family Was Punished by NH Corrections for Their Own Failures
c.orgI'm asking for help holding the New Hampshire Department of Corrections accountable. My husband is incarcerated, and over the past year, I've been caught in a cycle of contradictory orders, broken procedures, and retaliation from the Department.
Here's what happened: I was removed from my husband's visitor list without proper notice—then when DOC admitted they messed up, they kept punishing us anyway. Commissioner Hart told me to complete specific training to get reinstated. I did exactly what he asked. Then they informed me I was never eligible for the certificate I needed. How is that fair? The Department also misapplied their own rules to justify removing my husband from a housing program based on outings that were approved at the time. Now they're issuing new punishments with no new violations identified.
I started a petition calling for an independent investigation into NHDOC's misconduct and asking the Attorney General, Governor, and DOJ Civil Rights Division to step in. Families shouldn't be punished because the Department can't follow its own procedures or communicate clearly.
If this feels like something that crosses a line to you—if you've dealt with similar situations in the prison system or think agencies should actually follow their own rules—consider signing and sharing it. What would you want someone to do if this was your family?

Banning jail
Posting for my friend…. Her man had court today in Banning, CA and was found guilty. He has court again next month for his sentencing.
Does anybody know which jail he would most likely have been taken to today while they wait for his sentencing? I’m not sure if there is a jail in the city of Banning or any others nearby.
And if possible to know which prison he’ll be transferred to once he gets sentenced.
Also wondering what kind of tablets they use; JPay, Securus, GTL etc.
TIA 🫶🏻
