Hi,

Finally getting my head round Darktable and wanted feedback on this edit.

Not a particularly interesting composition but thought a good one to practice editing on

Any and all constructive criticism welcome!

just tried this edit that was an attempt to create a moodier, more artistic image by enhancing the texture and depth of the petals.

Since last year I've been obsessed with fog and the atmosphere it creates. There was a beautiful storm over the weekend which combined with the heat led to this scene. What do you think of the edit? Going for mood above all, but hopefully did not overdo it. Feedback welcome!

How do I make my subject more crisp? (Before After)

I took some raw photos online and try to process them.

I have 0 photography background and decided to pick up as a hobby. Got a Fujifilm xt30iii but didn’t really like majority of the “yellow tint” recipes I’ve seen (I guess another option is playing around w the WB on each recipe depending on time of day

so I’ve decided to try to shoot Raw and edit on LightRoom Mobile.

My subject doesn’t have that pop or crisp I’m looking for….what am I doing wrong?

The last 8 photos - are images colors I’ve seen on IG, that I wanna replicate…

Link to originals, edit, settings: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-dXWdqqkohnIGuaSYtyGT7fcZv5Vm2L1

Camera: DJI Lito X1
Software: lightroom for iPad
Note: I actually made my edits on the jpg not the raw file, so you won’t get the same results by copying my settings on the raw

I’m not sure how my edit looks, if I’ve gotten the most from the image or if I’ve overdone it, and if my stylistic approach works. I was going for warm sunset vibes.

Would appreciate some feedback!

Timeless Tokyo

Was hoping to tell a story of tradition and time... from a tea ceremony while in Tokyo.

Q3, shutter drag, manual focus for intentional softness ... Processed in Capture One, Agfa Ultra 100 film process from DXO...
