You may have seen a number of updates in the last couple of weeks... here's what those were:
We are now working on Version 6. š³š±
Please continue to share with us what you would like to see next. We are keeping tabs on everything.

As of today, we're opening our app's first Lifetime release.
Only 100 Lifetime PolyChat Plus memberships are available at $199.
Once these first 100 are gone, we'll remove the Lifetime option.
This is the lowest Lifetime price we'll ever offer for PolyChat Plus. Any future Lifetime offerings will be priced higher or apply to a different tier.
Happy to answer any questions or hear your feedback.
Version 6 in development now!

Hey all,
To our new members... welcome! And to everyone else... thanks for hangin :)
So as an update... We've been busy trying to get a pulse on Version 5 and fixing little bugs we found after releasing. Now that version is pretty stable we are pushing onwards to V5.5/V6 and beyond.
I am hoping to get more of an understanding of what are the biggest places we could improve. What do you guys think? We really want to keep pushing things forward while also improving all the existing things in the app. We have our own ideas about some of these things, but the community is definitely the strongest signal for this.
Please comment below if you have a feature or improvement request!
Cheers, JB

Hey all,
We recently just launched our affiliate program. We are currently offering a lifetime 30% commission on sales generated through affiliate links.
If you like making content or are looking to monetize an audience by sharing a great app, please shoot me a DM. Size doesn't matter (meaning, even if you are a tiny creator on social media, we'd be happy to work with you).
Here is more information about the program.
And here are the reasons it's been easy to get people people to try out PolyChat.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hey all, please use this thread to report any bugs you find or if there are improvements you'd like to see in the app. Cheers!

Might be good to start a thread for suggestions or bugs noticed in the app

For german i wanted to test out but from the update 4 to 5, it only lets you stay where you are. Is there any way around this?

Android coming very soon pending google play store acceptance.
Ya'll we did it!
This was our heaviest development cycle yet as we sought to completely revamp our lesson structure and take all of our courses to fluency level (A1-C2). We also added some insanely cool features we haven't seen anywhere else. In particular, the ability to create a scenario about any topic, then play a lesson to reinforce it. We are calling these "Custom Lessons". Let's get into the full feature list...
Here's the features we released:
Not only did we just release the biggest improvement to PolyChat yet, we also recently crossed 10,000 users! This is insane for us to think about. Just 6 months ago we were getting less than 10 downloads/day and now we are averaging about 100.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being a part of the early journey. Seeing people use our app in the early stages has inspired us to work hard, push on and make this the best it can be.
Version 5 is a major step up, but in many ways we are just getting started.
Version 6 is being planned and developed as we speak. We would love to hear your initial reactions to Version 5 as well as any feature requests or ideas you may have for things you'd like us to work on.

When will we get asian languages like russian, chinese and japanese. I like the app so far. But fear it may be too easy at parts. But atleast it has far more pros than cons in the free version compared to duolingo.

you should make a new invite link and set it to never expire

Hi! Iām a new user and I am traveling through France and Spain coming up. I know a decent amount of Spanish but feel very rustyāis it possible to have two different lesson plans going at once? And how can the app determine my experience level?

Hey all,
We are finally at the submission stage for Version 5.
Over the weekend we are hoping to get 10+ testers to hammer away at the new version and see if there's any obvious bugs or flaws before we submit.
If you'd like to be a tester, please shoot me a dm! You'll get free premium for at least 1 month. All you have to do it play with the app and give us feedback. There's an awesome premium feature coming out (custom lesson creator) so this is a good chance to use it.
If nothing major is discovered and apple/google are able to review it expediently, we'll have this out next week š.
STOKED!

Hey all,
We are officially in the final user testing phase of the Version 5 release!
So beyond excited to get this out to you guys. We are looking at T-minus ~2 weeks here until it's out.
Here are the features we are releasing:
We have an incredible feature roadmap planned beyond this version.
Our goal is still to make the most comprehensive, effective and fun language learning app in the world. We are more confident than ever that we are progressing towards that.
Stay tuned!

Ya'll,
First off, see here for the latest on the upcoming Version 5.
Second... we've discovered some incredibly dedicated learners. Some of you are cracked PolyChat players. I attached an image of our top 10 leaderboard. Major congrats to the players who made it on there!
Long term would ya'll like more competitive/reward opportunities? And what are your thoughts on the current state of the shop/ticket system?
We are always fishing for new ideas and opportunities to reward dedicated learners.
That's all for now, cheers!
Jean-Baptiste

Hey all,
I am so incredibly excited by what we are working on right now!! Version 5 is going to be a GIANT leap forward.
Here's what's coming at the end of this month:
We are already planning Version 5.5, 6 and so on, but we need your help!
We just added a board where you can post feature requests as well as upvote/downvote ones that others have posted. That's on our website here:
https://www.polychatapp.com/feedback
I threw a few on there to get us started. I'm very excited to see what this community comes up with. This will help us prioritize what we work on next and be able to respond to the needs of our community faster.
That's all for now. Thank you guys!

Trying out this app...still in the free 5 day trial period and so far I like it much more than a couple other bigger name competitors. But 2 things I can't figure out. 1. I don't see any chat feature, anywhere. Where is it?? 2. Seems I have to do all of the learning lessons in a linear fashion, starting with Core Topics and then Everyday Basics and so on. Can I not just jump around? Thank you! And hope it's okay to use this site for these questions.

What should it be folks? Are we happy with the current one? The options are in the comments. Apologies for the image quality š
