I know this maybe a long shot, but we do have a lot of game and card shops. Is there any place that holds events or tournaments locally?

There is a building for sale on Route 3 at Military on an acre of land. I was looking around the area and see everything from fast food to hardware to equipment rental. I am new to the area and do not know what is needed. Are there any businesses that are missing or ones that are perpetually too busy that would be a great addition?

I saw Casella is $900 for a 30 yard bin with the first 4 tons included and $100/ton above that. Does anyone know of other providers? I am at State Route 3 and Military so close to the dump.

Just an FYI: This weekend (June 27th and 28th) you do not need a fishing license in order to fish. You of course still have to follow the regulations. If you have any questions feel free to ask here or at r/FishingNY.

Is there a beach spot on the west side of the lake where I can see continuous fireworks from big shows as well as "amateur" / lake cabin shows all night?

I'm looking for some reviews of the Cumberland Bay State Park campground. I booked a site facing the water for Father's Day weekend, figuring we could have a beach day/father's day bbq there. But since I live in the area, I've never actually camped there since it's so close. Plus, the campground seems so close to the main road and doesn't really have that "camping in the forest" feel. But, the pavilion was already reserved so I figured it'd be okay for a day use gathering even if we didn't actually want to sleep there. Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Anybody got a good Michigan sauce recipe, preferably on the spicy side?

Saw 3 side by side utv's on US ave earlier. They looked to have plates but I couldn't see if they were NY plates. Google says they aren't street legal anywhere in the state. Am I missing something? Looks like it might be fun for a while.

I'm attending Plattsburgh for graduate school this coming fall and I'm a little nervous about student life. I'm still in my early twenties and want to know what the social scene is like for people my age. I'm worried there won't be a lot to do in Plattsburgh bar wise and for other social stuff. Any other current students there please give me your honest perspective. Also is there enough to do in general?
