Anyone know what might be going on with this sweet mama squash (kabocha winter squash)?

The plant has symmetrical yellow spots that are visible from the top and underside of the leaves. Spots seem to appear in progress as the leaves get bigger and older. I’m in zone 8b.

The plant doesn’t show any classical symptoms for viral or fungal infections based on what I’ve been able to find.

Some pretty distinctive conidia here… the most ubiquitous conidia seem to point toward one if the brassica Alternarias…

Also tons of fusarium-looking conidia.. but not in every slide. Seems clear that there are a ton of secondary decomposers in here… probably all sorts of bacteria.

This is only affecting my red cabbages, variety Omero, not Farao.

What do you think?

One of my purple cone flowers is not putting on it’s purple petals. My other plants have bright purple petals by the stage I am showing in these pictures. This plant has these weird pale petals. It doesn’t look like most other examples of aster yellow I have seen as the plant overall looks healthy and the flowers are not deformed. Is this aster yellow or is something else going on. The only other possible symptom I have is that these flowers are a bit delayed compared to the other plants I have.

Noticed these small holes in some (~15%?) of this young nectarine tree's leaves a couple of months ago (first pic.) Concluded it was probably some sort of bacterial(?) leaf spot and figured I'd see how it progressed. Second two pics are from a few days ago. A couple of the affected leaves have this interesting pattern of chlorosis. Any thoughts?

Every single flower in my garden has these tiny fast moving things. I can't tell if they're aphids or thrips or something else. They do fly but most don't move when I shake the flower. All plants in full sun, watering like normal. Just had our first bit a rain in weeks yesterday, and it's been 90°f+ the last few days. What do you think?

Hi everyone,
I have a rockopulco impatiens plant that is currently in quarantine. It’s in a sealed off section of my greenhouse. It has its own grow light (set to the equivalent of bright shade), which is on for 14 hours a day. It’s watered via drip/timer on a regular schedule. There’s a fan circulating the air in the room. It received diluted portion of sea kelp to assist in recovering from transplant shock and root establishment after being shipped from a nursery. It arrived about 1 week ago, and is still in the same soil/pot from the nursery. The ship time was approximately 2 days.

Recently, I noticed it had developed darkening portions of one of the stems. The darkened tissue isn’t soft, has no odor, and maintains the same firmness as the rest of the stems. The roots are not rotting, they are white and appear healthy. It is pushing a few small flower buds, the leaves are turgid and have a nice color. It’s a young plant, and with the exception of the stem darkening, is showing signs of growth/life. But something is obviously very wrong. I haven’t ever seen this type of discoloration on a plant stem that wasn’t some form of rot, but none of the other symptoms of rot are present.

I’m wondering if this can be some form of bruising from mechanical/shipment injury? Or just sadly, the early stages of rot that hasn’t fully set in, but is inevitable? Or is it something else? Can anyone assist me in diagnosing? Again, I have the plant isolated from my other plants, but need to know how/if I should intervene? Is this bruising or is this viral infection? The former means I can intervene and try to rehab it, the later is a different story..thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

The title says it all, pretty much. I live in coastal Northern California, and this was planted many years ago by the previous owners so I know little about it. I’ve spent the last 5 years or so doing my best to open it up as it was a nasty musty mess when we bought the house. The trimmings are piled by the fence but they’re getting hauled off soon. I’ve little attachment to it, but I’m willing to intervene if it’s not too complicated or doesn’t involve anything terribly toxic.

Does anyone know what this is?
The pine tree next to it died about a month ago.
