Do you think it would have been a bit better with a t-Rex skeleton on display?

No local tax dollars were used.

I know cargolux does a lot of medical shipments to places like IND. I wonder if that's what's happening here as well.

AMC Waterfront definitely had a 70mm film projector in 2015 when they showed Tarantino's Hateful 8 on 70mm film. If it was removed at some point in the last 11 years, do you happen to know when? Or could you be misinformed?

I've been saying for years that at starting at 66 there should be mandatory retests every 3-5 years. Everyone gets 50 years of driving no questions and it clears people who are a danger to themsleves and others off the road.

I've been through twice since the new airport opened. It's very nice.

That's awful. I'm not one to condemn dogs but if the owners can't control the dogs they need to be prosecuted and have the dogs taken away.

This is so sad because deaths like this are preventable in so many ways - whether it's public policy, infrastructure, or technology.

Jersey barriers, Public Transit, Competency tests, bigger SUVs, even the a perfect autonomous driving technology (developed in our Capitalist hellscape) won't fix this alone.

It does, actually. Quite literally, they make you have frequent physicals that are specifically testing you for the kind of decline that would make it dangerous for you to drive a commercial vehicle.

We took our 2 year old to her first game this year. It was a week night game in May: Small crowd and cheaper tickets. Her favorite things were the ice cream helmet and running the length of the upper deck concourse and the left field rotunda. We finished the night by letting her run around the playground by the right field entrance. Haven't taken her to a Sunday kids game but I imagine it's a lot more chaotic with 10x as many kids.

I flew this past Monday at around the same time with pre-check and cleared security in under five minutes. Things can always go wrong, but you should be ok.

You better watch out complimenting our airport. That’s just blasphemy around here

At 70 years old, this guy was probably required to have a DOT physical every 6 months. The standard for a healthy person is every 2 years, but things like high blood pressure, diabetes, limited range of motion, or degenerating vision or hearing (both of which are checked) can shorten the cycle. I get what you're saying, but CDL drivers already have to do the kind of testing you are calling for.

Please don't listen to these trolls. You are in a tough position and you care about the welfare of your brother and I think most people would have a difficult time watching a love one go through with severe mental health challenges. I hope you can find a solution.

Well you did say that, and all those things are changeable.

There is tremendous political will in the country to change those things.

Stop trying to kill that momentum with pointless naysaying and vague claims of us not being able to compare ourselves to places that have done the thing we want successfully.

Just saying "its different" is complete anti-intellectual nonsense. Its an excuse, not an argument. Like a child saying they're too tired to clean their room.

You can have a medical emergency at any age. He was clearly driving recklessly in the rain and caused a major accident. Don’t really see how age is the main factor the the original comment alludes to
