Howdy! I've got five eggs in the incubator, but sadly seems like my luck from last year (8 eggs hatching out of 10) has greatly diminished, as I only have 2/5 that seem fertile. Posting here to double check before I toss them, first two photos are the ones i believe to be fertile/growing, third fourth and fifth are the ones I believe aren't fertile/stopped growing. Little worried ive done something wrong this go around 😔 On day 10

Had this idea to make a small vase from the neck and head of a peacock and then the flowers can make up the ‘crown’ or crest.. was just going to do a basic white cracquel glaze - thoughts?

This is my first time raising a peachick, so I was wondering, whether it's possible to tell what sex my little buddy is.
I tried to get pictures from different angles and lighting.
I am really hoping for a peahen, so my personal confirmation bias might be keeping me from missing obvious signs.

This beautiful peacock has been free roaming the town next mine for a couple years. A month ago he shows up in my garden and has been here since! I bought peafowl food special for him, but he really loves eating cat food off my back porch lol. Now when I call my cats for dinner he comes running too!

Hi!
Has anyone experience on how to best integrate a peachick or peafowl with a flock of chickens?
For further information, I have chicken chicks that are the same age as the peachick and am raising them in close contact.
I take the chicks out to be close to the adult chickens, in hopes that they might slowly get familiar with each other, but obviously under supervision.
Tips and tricks are appreciated!
