Build "Floor Is Lava" Gemling - 6D Budget, 226% Rarity - All Content Viable

Sup guys - quick snippet from my YT of my new build! Appreciate all the interest/love on the Glacial Bolt setup, its been quite the ride! This Flameblast build is capable of clearing almost all end game content, including 10+ remnant expeditions on a tiny budget while rocking an insane amount of rarity. The scaling potential is insane too, let me know if you'd like to see what a minmaxed version looks like!

Gemling has an insane multiplier on Flameblast with the alt quality allowing us to focus fully on rarity and defenses. We use Oil Grenade mainly to spread the very powerful ignite across the map. We also have some very cool automations like using CoEA Tornado to carry our ignites even futher.

Check out the full video guide video here if interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-_rfZYHabg

Most updated POB housed in my Moba, along with the gear breakdown, and proof of the prices I bought the gear for: https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/profile/deadly-golem-wt8y0n/builds/e0a4c07c-608a-4e27-81af-0fd703225ea6

I want to credit Andy from my community for showing me the interaction on stream, and some other builds that explored this interaction before me such as QueFun on Chrono. Also folks pointed out that this creator is the inventor of the interaction, was unaware of this but wanted to credit too.

Have a great weekend ahead guys!

EDIT: since it's been requested, i'll have a minmaxed update by this weekend, but general thoughts:

- paragon on amulet, 5% quality desecrate on ammy, potentially CoEA or CoD on absent but not important
- 5 socket moiror, can also investigate loreweave with cracklecreep or taming, but best for tank is moiror imo. extra spirit maybe run time of need or other helpful auras
- annoit burnout maybe and cut down the top part of the tree, invest into more tank with prism guard, maybe try ES/Armour
- mega of whatever is most helpful, just replace one of those crappy jewels. probably tank mega tbh
- can mess around with adorned maybe if you are RICH RICH
- mageblood, granite, golds, quicksilvers or like bismuth to help with gearing

Build Build Showcase: Scattering Calamity Titan - HIGHLY UNETHICAL 1 button screen clear and bossing

Back after some changes this season, most notably the relative gutting of Time of Need reduced duration shenanigans and the removal of the base mana cost for the skill itself. I am happy to report that this build still slaps, though I did make some changes from my previous iteration to get it feeling comfy. With the resource generation tied to time of need life restore I found it hard to comfortably maintain resources for archmage and cast on crit. Not that it wasn't possible, but I hate the low life effects on your screen and I don't like the idea of casting with mana using MoM and eldritch battery. Definitely possible if you wanna go that route though. I also experimented with Kalguuran Remnants, but the extra damage was mostly irrelevant once things started dying offscreen

For the most part if you are familiar with this archetype the build is pretty standard. Get all the duration reduction nodes from the tree, get as much crit as possible, and mana stack to scale spell damage and EHP. Calamity chains 4 times and explodes by default making it super great at clearing without needing to generate remnants or give up support slots. If you need a little extra oomph mana tempest causes it to split into 3 additional projectiles with almost 90% extra damage which will clear multiple screens with a single click basically. Note that this will technically be 2 buttons, which I know is a lot to ask.

Gearing is super straightforward as you basically just stack as much ES and res as possible, and get + or %max mana wherever possible. Some of the new gear options work really nicely for this build, specifically +proj gloves and the new caster ring types (both mnemonic base and the explicits like spell damage and spell crit bonus. The giga 5 mod double crit bonus jewels are also extremely nice and relatively affordable (around 100d each iirc). By mostly omitting spirit from my build I was able to save a bunch of money on my ammy which is nice as well.

Total investment to this point maybe like 1200d, but I could have stopped a long time ago in terms of effectiveness, I just wanted to break 1M dps on poe ninja.

I'm mostly finished with this, although would consider getting one of those spirit amulets with trinity or blink if I wanted to buy something else.

POB: https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/dpm0618-7283/runesofaldur/character/CalaMeatyReturns

I think it's mostly straight forward, but feel free to ask any questions you may have!

EDIT: all spirit skills are disabled except remnants and conflux! Sorry for the confusion! Those are leftover from testing alternate setups.

Build One shotting 200% Deli (3x Deli Tablets). No MB/HH. Glacial Bolt is the most slept on POE 2 Skill.

Quick snippet from latest YT video! The build revolves around automatically exploding glacial bolts with a host of different minions for instant explosions. Minions socketed with Biting Frost one shot ice crystals no matter the HP. We then scale AoE and explosion damage with gemling levels and quality %. We're also stacking auras to take advantage of all the juicy alt qualities from all the auras. Ward is also an incredible defensive layer when parried with Olrtoh's. Berserk allows us to use our Olroth's on demand so we're able to generate 3K guard whenever we want with our flask along with giga HP and ward regen.

If you're interested in how to set this up, consider checking out my full video guide and Moba: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-V6jfuV7I8

Working POBs:
Armour Break: https://pobb.in/QNnfYUCq4x40
Non Armour Break: https://pobb.in/v2Y_PJSpFJD_

Doesnt look like it's taking into account much like guard, max ward, ward recovery etc so take it with a grain of salt. Will send updates soon as I keep minmaxing and then a HH/MB version. I'm not convinced armour break is that much better for the points and augment investment. Will investigate.

Build Ragemaxxing Wyvern - 1 button build - no mana - clears all content

POB: https://pobb.in/aakXDrLn2UT9

Hey everyone,

with the introduction of Medved's Felling stacking rage has become quite insane. Currently I am sitting at 91 rage and this support gem gives me 91% increased attack speed (ias). As comparison Rapid Attacks II gives 25% ias. This is more than 3 Rapid Attacks II and is equal to 3x Legacy of Silver from mageblood from just 1 support gem. Since there are so many benefits from stacking Rage, I will just list them here:

1% more attack damage per rage (inherent)

Bhatairs Vengenace grants 1% Damage gained as extra Cold Damage per 2 rage (lasts over 1min with weapon swap)

Bestial Rage gives 12% increased physical damage per 10 rage

Mystical Rage gives 2% spell damage per 1 rage (can be converted via crown of eyes)

Vengeful Fury grants 1% increased armour per rage

Berserk (30 spirit) grants over 70% increased effect of rage = 70% more damage for attacks

To maintain constant maximum rage I use an absent amulet. This will give me Eternal rage and therefore constant rage generation and is basically free on the amulet.

Downsides?

At 91 rage you would lose 18% of max life each time you use a skill (medveds felling). Berserk will cost you 9.1% max life per second. To overcome this, you need to go Chaos Inoculation (CI), which sets your total life pool to 1. Now your total amount of life loss per second is less than 1. One modifier with 1 life regen/s is enough to counter the massive percentage life loss. That means the build is only truly online once you have CI allocated.

How good was your gear in the video?

I would consider my gear really good. My talisman is 761 physical dps and 940 total dps. I have a mageblood, garukhans resolve, rakiatas flow. These are the most expensive items I currently possess. I know many people cannot afford these items, so I am showing a cheaper version at around 7:00 in the video. No mageblood, garukhans, breach rings and with a 5 link, you can still clear 200% deli maps comfortably.

What budget do I need to play this?

You can play Druid right off a leaguestart. Wyvern rend/oil barrage is super popular and can work on any budget. To use Medved's Felling you need to be CI, which can take quite a while though. I highly recommed rakiatas flow and a rite of passage with spirit of wolf. Wyvern can work completely fine without it though.

Why oracle and shapeshifter?

Oracle and shapeshifting nodes have high amounts of maximum rage like Primal Rage (12) or Anger Management (15)

Build This is not Flicker - 500% Cull Falconer, 78% MS & Blink

So basically the Horror's Flight from the content reveal got giga buffed from 100% increased culling threshold to 200%. At 500% you're able to cull magic mobs. You can either scale AoE and use the built in skill of the gloves, or go full flicker style while generating all 3 charges with Killing Palm. Rares and bosses are killed with falling thunder -> Mantra -> Thunder. You can build combo because of the Martial Artist ascendency.

500 cull: 100 base, 60 from tree, 20 from Cull support, 20+ from heart of the well, 200 Horror's Flight and 100 from Myris Uxor. You can cut the support by hitting a good corruption on the helmet and/or timeless jewels + better heart of the well.

Weapon Set 1 is responsible for culling and building combo, so we don't need damage at all. This means all the movement speed we can get + Matsya for Time of Need, Vitality, Clarity and Blasphemy Repulsion for Maim and Blind. Lvl 1 Killing Palm solves mana. I also run The Auspex because i like the bird. Decent armour, get's you an extra anoint as well.

If you wanted to start the Build without the gloves you can cull whites with 286%. It's easiest to reach with Stonefist and Deathblow, as it gives you some culling threshold. You're also able to use a time lost jewel with 24%+ increased effect of notables near bounty hunter for the remaining 6%. It is however annoying to have to falling thunder every single blue pack. You'd run Stonefist and Hollow Focus over the combo package and replace Mantra with Stormwave for bosses.

This is by no means optimized and my gear is very much at progress. After the switch to the combo package way of the mountain doesn't trigger reliably, so i need to fix that somehow. Any input and ideas are super welcome, have fun with the build!

Build Incendiary Shot + Blackflame + CoEA Contagion = SATISFYING CLEAR! Thanos Shotgun Gemling - All Content Viable

Sup guys! Quick snippet from my YT. Appreciate all the interest in my Glacial Bolt build and also my budget setup for Flameblast/Oil Grenade/Tornado.

Put together a new build that might be interesting to you all ft. a really cool prolif interaction. I do not claim to have invented this interaction, I just saw a few interesting Ninjas while I was working on my flameblast build.

TLDR:

- Gemling Alt Quality of Incen Shot = Many Fragments.

- Many Fragments = merge into big Ignite

- Convert big ignite into chaos with Blackflame

- CoEA is fueled by the ignites from Incen shot. We slot Contagion into CoEA.

- Everytime we shoot incen shot, we fuel CoEA and autocast a million contagions

- Result: true one button build prolif build

Feel free to check out my full build guide video if interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upOE0YK5aOg

I have 3 different POBs for 3 budget levels house in my Moba. I will work on written guide and more resources over the weekend if there's demand!

PS. Tried to make an under 10 div budget build but just did not feel good so I didn't want to bait you guys. This build requires some budget but not max budget MB Garukhan Dalia level. Also need a pretty good understanding of common attack build concepts. Join my Discord if you need help putting it together!

Have a GREAT weekend ahead guys!

EDIT since people are interested:

QUICK NOTES FROM WHILE I WORK ON THE FULL GUIDE:
- Double curse despair is a PURE luxury. we can just manual cast it and drop ATD spirit, drop the need for a super specific 2 mod loreweave etc. if the market goes stupid just drop the double curse concept TRUST ME
- Budget idea: no loreweave, no ATD spirit. keep blackflame ring, go moiror for spirit + gig tank. slot wildfire into incen shot, pick up emergency reload and rapid shot to make up for damage use on hard packs. go single curse and manual cast despair.
- either way, pick up emergency reload and rapid shot rampart 2nd set if you need more damage. its heat + ER insane multiplier
- blackflame ring + loreweave ignite prolif mod is necessary. if you want to go tanky chest like moiror, slot in wildfire into your incen shot. you need ignite prolif for the build to feel good

- make sure you have enough ward to run scouring flame, 200 should be good. or drop it for another damage support
- if you need stats, its totally ok to do like level 17 eternal rage berserk. its not much dps loss and well worth it if you can fit everything in easier
- amulet is going to get expensive i think, can look for eternal rage amulet too, perfectly fine. same mods.
-for instant withers, you need 5% more quality than my poe ninja HH build does. its not a big deal, but dalia's to replace chaos mastery would perfectly hit the breakpoint if you can afford it. just check alt tooltip to ensure you are going negative
- chain is not that important, go spirit reservation desecrate if needed. check my glacial bolt moba FAQ to see how to craft those 3 mods deterministically
- my gloves are trash, you can go ignite mag, damaging ailments deal damage faster, can go +2 proj, a lot of really good options
- if the incen shot prism goes crazy in price, you can just go wither +3 and get insta withers without dalia on the HH build. sorry :(

Build 95% MORE visual clarity build

Arctic howl is already pretty visually clear, but socketing Astral Projection in it reduces the visuals of the skill to the point of it being almost invisible.

Pretty neat! I can see whats going on finally

Build in short:

Arctic howl with meme levels of increased warcry speed. With some added skill speed. And reverse chill for...some more speed. Speed shire too. For more speed.

Also it has mobility support for, you guessed it..more speed.

I can do a more in depth explanation if wanted or look in my post history, i made some posts on this build before. Usually it uses cast on crit frost darts and Eventide Petals amulet for some more damage, but i unspecced it to show just the visual clarity of this skill.

Build Warcry is back on the menu boys

Enemies die when i cry my cries.

Reverse self chill werewolf cold damage infernalist warcry build. Whats not to like?

Found some pretty cool interactions to make this all work and come together as a whole and the end result is pretty fast, with i guess still a lot of room to optimize. It's got around 13 warcries EVERY second, if buffed with the self chill of a potentially 62% MORE action speed. That includes walking and opening portals and what not.

This is more a proof of concept, its definitely not a finalized build. Anyways, let me break down some cool interactions.

First, we trigger self chill by going Infernalist with pyromantic pact, causing use to take a self fire damage hit every few cries equal to all our life and es. Resist plus guard (more on that later) will reduce the incoming hit to 15% of our max life. Enough to trigger the full self chill of 50%. Coupled with the new chronomancer glove mod, 'increased slowing potency of debuffs on you' this will net us 62% chill.

We go a bit lower than full 75% fire resist, otherwise we dont hit hard enough for the full 50% self chill. Again guard plays a roll here, more on that later.

15% of our already low life as a hit is quite a lot seeing as we self hit 2 to 3 times a second. How do we manage that. Theres a notable on the tree and a new helmet mod that combined give 7% of life recovered per warcry. Thats basically a full health pool every second. But wait..theres more.

We can use Blood of the warrior life flask to recoup 30% of damage taken as life. And seeing how most of the damage we take is self induced anyways, this is a perfect fit for passive life regen which doesnt end when life is full. But wait...there more.

The guard. Carved mischief ancient augment in a helmet gives us guard equal to 10% of our maximum life if we take a savage hit. Since all our hits hit for 15% of life we have a free extra 10% guard basically all the time.

The trick there is that self chill only chills for 50% if the magnitude of the hit is large enough. This seems to be the case at taking a hit for 25% of our life. Since we have guard up, this is reduced to 15% of life. So every few cries we consume our guard, and instantly trigger a new one since we take a savage hit.

Next up, the new way to craft jewels with both quality and 60% increased effect affix can net us potentially 53% increased warcry speed per jewel. I wont explain it here but its not that hard to craft these jewels and they net a LOT of warcry speed.

Couple that with the new glove rune that gives a jewel slot, the new annoint on amulet (im not using this though) that gives a jewel slot, voices with more jewel slots and Adorned for rare jewels we are looking at potentially insane levels of warcry speed. Also, the new carnage helmet mods are all very good for warcry builds.

Since we are no warbringer who can ignore cooldowns we use rage and Enraged warcry to bypass the cooldown. We do need Raging cry as well to generate rage with our warcries. And since we dont use rage for damage directly we can use the keystone Primal rage to generate all the rage we need.

Next up, why wolf? To be honest im not entirely sure if the arctic howl would be better than a regular seismic cry setup but i wanted to try something different. There are some benifits though.

The new unique amulet Eventide petals gives +2 to cold skills. And has a skill which triggers on critical strike. We use our massive speed warcries plus cast on crit with frost darts for as much triggers as possible. This helps a lot with our single target damage. We do need Vruun's aftermath socketed in our Arctic howl to detonate the ice crystals from the amulet's spell.

Wolf boy has more benefits though. Lunar blessing gives us 72% of damage as extra cold. We have Zerphi's infamy socketed in here for a (not yet used) tech from the notable Craving slaughter, which gives +15 max rage if a skill with glory was used in the past 20 seconds, coupled with a jewel affix that converts some skill cost to life.

Wolf boy also has Lunar assault used in the weapon swap which has VERY high freeze potential, coupled with Bhatair's vengeance support which gives us 85% of damage as extra cold since we have 170 rage. So wolfy gives us a total of 150%+ as extra cold damage.

Wolf also has pounce in the weapon swap, with weapon swap points in reduced cooldown to give us a 3 second cooldown pounce. Couple with the innate 30% extra movespeed that the wolf has, plus our reverse chill we can move around pretty fast.

Lastly, wolf arctic howl has a base crit chance of 10% as opposed to seismic cry's 0%. Couple with the notable where warcries apply critical weakness on hit we have a base crit chance of 20% which is very high. Also its a cold skill so it benefits form the +1 cold skill notable on the tree and the +2 cold skills on the amulet. The range is 5.5 base as opposed to seismic 4

Our talisman is just a stat stick. Extra cold damage, some stats, crit multi and crit chance vs marked targets. We dont use energy shield, evasion or armour. We do however have a extra 1000 ward as backup hitpool, which rarely gets touched,

The ascendancy safe for the crit multi and pyromantic pact is pretty useless it feels like. So if anybody got tips on how to get more out if it let me know. My infernal wolf does nothing and the burn damage is pretty mid as well.

Some other things to potentially solve: If we can find a way to reliably generate even just a little bit of rage we can ditch Raging cry as a support and slot a more damage support. If we could find a way (ive looked im 99% sure its impossible) to generate endurance charges fast enough it would be even better. We could ditch 2 support gems AND allocate nodes on the tree which would give 2% as extra fire per endurance consumed recently and a total of 9% increased fire damage per endurance consumed recently, which is, with our warcry speed an extra 120% as fire and 540% inc fire damage.

Ive looked though, im pretty sure its impossible. Well..not impossible, it can be done with bear and warcry but those warcries are about 40% slower.

Anyways..this post is way to long already. Its more a proof of concept. Again, plenty of room for improvement still. Maybe a different ascendancy or gear setup. I dunno. Let me know if theres any questions.

poe ninja link: https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/Coldsmoke010-2147/runesofaldur/character/Medved_Shred

The stats in poe ninja look like absolute garbage. The damage ramp, self chill and no cooldown warcries dont show and the regen, recover and recoup also dont really show.

Build Bitter Dead Gemling

Had a few people ask me about my bitter dead gemling build so I attempted to record a video showing some gameplay. POE Ninja link here.

Main skill is bitter dead using sacrifice and skeletal clerics along with chance to not consume corpses to always have things to detonate. I get up to 95% chance tor not consume on my current setup. You can get to 100%, but it's quite expensive and honestly not needed since the clerics can resurrect each other.

Damage and tankyness come from mana stacking and archmage. I leveled till ~lvl 60 with crossbows and then switched to bitter dead. Build really started to come together in the 80's once I was able to equip some better gear and get most of the good mana passives. I played around a bit with 100% MoM and CI, but found mix of life and mana to be more comfortable and easier on the tree pathing. It's an option if you want to be chaos immune though.

Most of the gem setups are just to balance my support gems for gemling's gem studded passive. Triskelion cascade adds some big aoe for content like breaches and abyss. You can see how many balls it spawns when it goes off in the middle of a full screen of corpses.

Build has been able to take down everything I've thrown at it, including all the new pinnacle bosses with Jado active. I can definitely recommend the build if you want to try a ward based caster. The power curve was pretty smooth from basic starter gear to my current setup, and I've got a lot more upgrades to do still. The amulet is completely unnecessary and I only got it recently. I was using a basic +3 amulet with mana before that.

Build CoC Comet Stormweaver - Infinite auto mana and life recovery tech - Build Guide

Thumbnail
youtube.com
258 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I'm bringing back an old 0.4 build that has somehow gone completely under the radar. I assume it's because it used to use Leech and Leech got nuked from orbit? But anyway, that's irrelevant for this build because this build doesn't use any Leech at all.

So how does it work?

Basically I'm converting my CoC's mana costs into Life costs with Lifetap and I'm sustaining myself by using Life Remnants from the unique body armour The Covenant aswell as Mana Remnants. I'm converting all of my ES into Mana with Eldritch Battery and of course I'm using Mind Over Matter to turn my Mana into my actual Health Pool.

When you combo these 2 skills with Stormweaver's "Storm's Recollection" you basically get double the amount of Life and Mana Remnants, which is already pretty cool, but it's not quite enough to sustain the resource hungry CoC Comet.

So I took it a step further by grabbing Arcane Remnants and Vigorous Remnants from the passive tree to recover 3% of my max Life and Mana every time I pick up a Remnant. The reason these 2 passives are insane is because they work with Infusions, so when you socket a low level Living Bomb inside Cast on Crit, you'll basically recover 3% max Life and Mana every time CoC procs.

But obviously I'm getting double the amount of Infusions because of "Storm's Recollection" so I'd be leaving a bunch of Fire Infusions on the ground. In order to utilize those aswell, I socket in Spell Cascade support inside my CoC Comet because for some reason Spell Cascading Comets also consume Fire Infusions which means that each CoC proc will consume up to 3 Fire Infusions, further boosting the recovery from Arcane Remnants and Vigorous Remnants.

In the end, all of this tech creates an automatic sustainability loop for both Life and Mana as long as your costs don't go completely crazy (don't use Archmage basically). So I'm doing tons of damage while also being able to tank everything outside of 1shot mechanics.

If you guys have any questions or anything, feel free to ask in the post or in the video's comments and I'll reply back to you as soon as I can. Enjoy!

EDIT: Hey guys, I want to give ya'll a quick update since Snakepit ring is not affordable while levelling and a lot of people have been telling me they're struggling around act 2/3 - use Cold Infused Ice Nova for trash clear instead of Frostbolt, it's way smoother that way. Also don't bother with Firestorm, it's too tedious to mix it in with all the other buttons when fighting bosses. So while clearing areas just use Frostbomb -> Cold Infused Ice Nova spam (make sure it has a cold infusion). This will instantly freeze all normal and magic monsters in its radius while dealing good damage. Against bosses Frostbomb -> 1 Cold Infused Ice Nova to apply chill -> Lightning Infused Flame Wall -> Frost Darts spam.

Another thing, I severely overestimated how ES would play out after the recharge nerfs, it's actually pretty bad. Try to get as much mana and ES on your gear ASAP and rush MoM + EB + Mana Cost Efficiency nodes before you get into maps. I'm running early maps right now with 2k mana and I feel 10 times tankier than when I had 4k ES despite not even having a CoC setup yet.

I'll update the Mobalytics guide with what gems to put into Ice Nova and I'll update the tree a bit. Nothing crazy, just re-arranging the order in which you should take some of the passives so you have a smoother campaign.

Build No MB, 200% Rarity "Floor is Lava" Gemling Update - Faster mapping & more defensive layers. More damage too of course!

Sup guys! I appreciate you guys checking out my previous post on the Floor is Lava ignite gemling. I've been working all weekend to provide solutions to some of the key weaknesses of the build such as, speed, defense and ignited ground maps. Found a pretty good solve for all of them imo and we don't even need a Mageblood, Darkness Enthroned OP.

Cast on dodge is our mobility but it also casts Tornadoes to kill flying monsters and help carry our ignite more. But it creates less tornadoes so our mana doesn't get destroyed. We are also giga fast with dodging since we have 45% quality. We have dropped CoEA.

We can do ignite maps now by turning off tornadoes (tornadoes picks up weak ignited ground not oil grenade) and using Cracklecreep's ignite prolif to kill flying monsters. For non ignite maps we can just leave tornado on and take advantage of the original automation.

We have way more defensive layers too, temporal chains with high magnitude from 45 quality, undying hate 20% upfront hit reduction, 10% MOM, 3K HP and 85% armour and lots of armour applies to ele. 45% quality on arctic armour is also over 300% inc. armour.

If you're curious, check out the full video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8Cg2Sr18SQ

Hope it's helpful guys! Haven't updated the Moba yet bc I'm exhausted but I have a POB of this setup in my Moba: https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/profile/deadly-golem-wt8y0n/builds/e0a4c07c-608a-4e27-81af-0fd703225ea6

Build Glacial Bolt Gemling Oneshots Max Juiced Expedition - 15 Remnant, 14 mods, Aldur's, 100%+ Effect.

Quick snippet from my YT! A lot of folks have asked me stress test my Glacial Bolt Gemling with the new expedition fully juiced. Glad to say, we one-shot almost every rare even at the end of the chain. I followed a guide by OperatorOtter on juicing so huge shoutout to them! All proof of remnants, map mods, tablets in the video.

This is a HH setup and I break it down in the full video but basically to get tankier, we're swapping of Painter's and manually balancing Trinity. This allows us to get some decent armour on our gloves, HP, +2 and all the juicy rare mods. I've also added Cast on Elemental Ailment entangle for instantaneous wall explosions in big packs with entangle is triggered. Build Finality Ice Strike Monk - A strong Martial Artist build

Hey everyone,

this is my Martial Artist utilizing the new Quarterstaff Duality Runemastered Quarterstaff. It uses a combination of ice strike and shattering palm. Ice strike generates combos twice as fast as martial artist and can then be expended with other skills to grant energy shield recharge, damage and power charges. Finality gives a buff for 0.5s for every combo expended. It increases your critical hit chance by 100%, grants up to 1000 guard and allows you to skip to the final strike of a strike skill. With Crescendo III you can have a permanent ancestrally boosted ice strike, which is OP.

I cooked this build yesterday on my stream. Hope you guys like it.

Edit: didnt know guard was capped around life. So now I am not CI anymore

Edit 2: It is a 2 button build, but feels super smooth to play, because both ancestral boosted ice strike and shattering palm clear insanely well

Build Caster Leveling Tech for 0.4.0 - Level to maps on 5ex or less extremely quickly

In case you weren't aware of this season's overpowered combinations yet:

For 5ex or less, you can level a caster with literally any tree (that includes intelligence to keep your spells highest level as you level) to maps with ease. While the armor + focus + any sceptre combo will be applicable to all future leagues as it likely won't be nerfed, this is for 0.4.0 as Shock Conduction II will likely be removed or significantly reworked due to its abuse to guaranteeing shocking enemies.

This basically one taps all regular and magic monsters, and easily burns down anything with a ton of HP. It feels like leveling in poe1, where you're spending more time running than clicking on monsters.

The grocery list:

  • Level 5 Uncut support gem to cut Shock Conduction II

  • Thunderstorm at level 14

  • Coursing Current support gem for Thunderstorm

  • Enfolding Dawn Unique Body Armor

  • Threaded Light Unique Focus

  • Idol of Uldurn Unique Amulet

  • Greater Jeweller's Orb and Overabundance (II) for Thunderstorm

Optional to increase DPS vs bosses and rares:

  • Spark supported with Shock Conduction II + Coursing Current (and rapid casting!)

  • Frost Bomb to lower resistances. Combo with cold infusions with Spark to get a tiny bit more burst damage.

  • Elemental Weakness

  • Orb of Storms... with Shock Conduction II + Coursing Current (See a pattern?)

  • Throw some plant spells in there to grow them if you want, since you are using thunderstorm

  • 1x or 2x Glowswarm for extra mana as necessary, since Enfolding Dawn will drop your mana due to having your intelligence not contribute to your mana pool

Your passive tree/ascendancy class does not matter!

Level 1: Equip Enfolding Dawn. Add some minions of choice (Rattling Sceptre is great for this) with your spirit to distract and do extra dps. I use spark + frost bomb, but you could probably use an equivalent that you like that does the same effect.

Level 6: Equip Threaded Light (12%!). Use any sceptre for more spirit, you now have 240%+ (depending on spirit on sceptre and what you get through the campaign) increased spell damage to just melt every act. Plus your crazy high amount of spirit can go towards whatever you want, including minions.

Level 14: Cut Thunderstorm and support with Shock Conduction II + Coursing Current + Overabundance. Use this as your primary leveling skill. It will immediately shock everything for 20% and every .5 seconds trigger Coursing Current damage. Magnified Area (II) for next support gem which given the price of Greater Jeweller's orbs, is pretty easy to do. Stack multiple on heavy HP targets to trigger tons of damage. You're already playing cast on ailment at level 14 with coursing current! (which Coursing Current does about 20% more damage each trigger than a single hit of spark would do, not to mention the shock damage multiplication)

Level 24: Equip Idol of Uldurn to get one more Thunderstorm, 3 with overabundance.

On high HP targets, stack 3 thunderstorms, drop any debuffs you chose and start sparking to trigger another Coursing Current per cast.

Transition to your endgame build whenever you feel comfortable and/or unlock it. You can even level as your endgame passive tree because it doesn't matter what you've picked while leveling with this. Bonus points with whatever you pick that works with spells/triggers/shock, especially bonuses to shock, increased damage when you shock or have shocked recently because you're constantly shocking.

Seriously, Shock Conduction II + Coursing Current is Cast on Crit all over again for low levels starting at 14 and makes leveling a new caster character a breeze.

Build Lightning Strike is back! A one-button Falling Thunder guide.

Lightning Strike is back baby!

One Button Falling Thunder Written Build Guide ft. Solus Ipse

The combo:

Living Lightning + Culmination + Ailith's Chimes will always net you power charges whenever the minions attack. Make sure to slot in Living Lightning, then Culmination, then Ailith's in that order, otherwise you won't be able to add them in.

ANY SKILL and a little lightning damage can start this combo but we go even further beyond.

Blasphemy + Repulsion is becoming a league staple at this point for applying on hit effects, and why can't we use this to our advantage? With the "Attack" tag this skill also generates combo on hit. At a 0.3sec cooldown and a nearby enemy, all you have to do is hit an enemy and it will generate charges for you!

But I find it so inconsistent! I need to stand by an enemy and hit it, or press a different button, etc... Don't you worry. I've been playing this build for almost a week now, ironing out hundreds of different combinations to try to find the most optimal.

So, how CAN we still generate charges from off-screen? Two-fold, Solus Ipse and Power Charge on Critical (PCoC).

Solus Ipse will let us slot in a second lineage support gem into any different skill. In this case we are going to slot it into Falling Thunder. Why? Even though it's not a damaging support, we are able to generate charges without doing anything as we press Falling Thunder. Because Martial Artist can generate combo from any attack, that being Repulsion, Heralds, Living Lightning, or the Charged Staff hit, or whatever you want to throw at it, like Hand of Chayula/Shattering Palm/Bell on the boss opener combo, you will always have combo to spend. If you have 4 combo as you press Falling Thunder, you will get AT LEAST one power charge.

So how do we get more? Xopec's Soul Core of Power, Idol of Alira, Charge Profusion, Lust for Power, and Thirst for Power. These will most likely give you two power charges per one you generate. With more combo? You get more charges, just for pressing Falling Thunder, making it truly one button.

And with The Fabled Stag or Perpetual Charges, you can also manage to keep some charges per attack. I generate enough charges I don't even have Perpetual on Falling Thunder, but it's purely preference. Do what you think is smooth!

Your weapon is going to want to have a lot of cold damage. I recommend starting with a cheap triple ele staff and adding Breath of Aldur. That's what I was using up until today. Just a self craft, essenced, crappy quarterstaff. Still one shot everything in the game. Pinnacles included.

Defenses: Eva/ES + CI

I started out using Forgotten Warden Primal Markings which gives you a nice bit of Dexterity, and I might go back to using it. It gives you just so many stats, and a good amount of damage reduction with Loyalty/Romira's Requital. You can switch to a rare body armour later on. I really like having increased energy shield recharge rate as that speeds up your recovery like a pseudo old ghost dance, since all combo you spend lowers your time to es recharge which is actually 0 in this case.

The glove is a huge piece as well, probably going to be your most expensive piece to start! You're looking for physical to attacks, flat defense, and %defense (NO HYBRID LIFE), +2 melee levels, critical damage, and chance to gain arcane surge on critical hit. You can flex the flat damage as well if you have Uul-Netols, or invest more into defense nodes and add a damage prefix. Or skip PCoC altogether, since it's so expensive. The added flat phys is to get phys as extra to enable Herald of Ice + Armour Explosion chains.

For the rest of the gear just cap res and get movespeed. Flat damage on rings.

I prefer being as high stun threshold as possible with stun charm, a freeze charm, and ignite charm as dots are the only thing preventing you from feeling almost invincible if you don't get hit a billion in one second. You can always roll and get some es back whenever. If you can fit it in, you can try running Wind Dancer as it is insane utility as it will start your energy regen and also knock back enemies.

If you have any questions about the build feel free to ask! Treat it more like a rough mechanical explanation than a perfect 1:1 copy and paste.

Edit: Some errors.

Edit 2: I forgot to write, for mapping some indoor/closed maps, please run Ricochet. Spare yourself the pain.

Edit 3: https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/Aiela-0248/runesofaldur/character/monkagigar
Please don't copy 1 for 1 except maybe the helm and glove, my gear sucks.

Build Gemling Chaos Flamblast/ED 1 shot bosses

Flameblast converted to chaos with Blackflame Convenant then using ED to clear in maps. Didnt need Contagion because ED was more than enough to clear, but contagion does get +MORE AOE if you wanted to.

Bought most stuff and was around 30d total. Most expensive item was the split personality to start at templar node I got for 8d and a lv 20 for flameblast being 4d. Bought ED/Dark Effigy for 1d as 20/20. Was clearing t15s pretty quick and bosses fine on this budget so never kept investing, but do feel there's a lot to upgrade for sure and optimization. Could get like +5 qual on loreweave and +5 qual for annoint for more ED chains and lots more Flameblast damage.

Tankiness felt pretty solid, barely died gettin to 94. Waveshaper with the new Virtuous Barrier felt good since it gave a lot of mana regen, then the armour felt really noticable in maps even without mana stacking. Temp chains blasphemy always nice.

Matched green/blue gems for Gem Studded ascendancy for reduce mana cost and movement speed penalty was pretty nice. Have a bunch of greens in some auras I dont use but it still counts towards total.

Gemling has some really solid qualities for the skills:

- Flameblast MORE ailment dmg per stage

- ED +4 chain

- Dark Effigy +1 totem

- Withering Prescence faster application

- Convalescence more cooldown

EDIT:

Mapping post: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile2builds/comments/1tzrl77/gemling_chaos_flameblasted_mapping/

pob: https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/1eafb
NOTE: for POB, it doesnt support split personality, so ignore the skill points leading from merc area of tree to templar area of tree

Build Martial Artist Monk Builds

Post image
174 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I've been a big fan of Monk since 0.1. Now that he's getting a new ascendancy (which seems awesome btw) I'm definitely going for it.

I'm very appealed to go for those Bells nodes, then go for the runic tattoos and for the iron gloves (or the mountain node, maybe). I'm still going for quarterstaves since i've never been a big fan of Hollow Palm Technique.

Please let me know how are you planning to approach this new ascendancy and which build are you going to play with it!

Why is nobody talking about Stormblast Bolt?

The more I look into this skill, the more broken it seems. It basically works like a crossbow version of Lightning Rod that can potentially one-shot every boss in the game.

Stormblast Bolt is extremely powerful because it allows you to stack multiple bolts on the ground and detonate them all at once for massive burst damage.

Each use of the skill fires 3 bolts, and you can have up to 30 active bolts at the same time.

When detonated, each bolt deals a huge amount of explosion damage:

Level 20: 470% Attack Damage per bolt

470% × 30 bolts = 14,100% Attack Damage

Level 30: 989% Attack Damage per bolt

989% × 30 bolts = 29,670% Attack Damage

And this is before factorin in additional scaling.

Curious to hear what other people think.

Build 6 Bosses in 16 Seconds - My Cull Witchhunter T15+ Endgame Build

this is my home-cooked cullmaxxing build for Witchhunter in 0.5 that uses Horror's Flight and several other fun stuff to one shot mobs. Also uses passives like Zealous Inquisition, Hunter, and Giantslayer to excel at killing demons, undead, & bosses which is super thematic. This build makes me feel like John Wick.

Basically you can have so much cull that:

Normal Enemies: 168-196% threshold DIE IN ONE SHOT

Magic Enemies: 96-112% threshold DIE IN ONE SHOT (mostly)

Rare Enemies: 48-56% threshold DIE AT HALF HP

Bosses: 24-28% threshold DIE AT A QUARTER HP

I was asked to share so I made a guide for anyone interested. Still experimenting with some stuff: https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/profile/pretty-shield-rrezhn/builds/140fed52-3a58-4953-a492-a64fcb43fad9

Build Rakiata`s Flow is a Lie || 100% Chaos CoC Chronomancer || 10m+ DPS

Hi, in the last 6 weeks i was working on this build starting in 0.4 and by now with all the great gifts from 0.5 let me present you this build:

100% Chaos Damage thanks to Loreweave and Original Sin`s Unique Elemental Damage to Chaos Damage Conversion Effect.

Triple Curse Aura.

Highly optimized Passive Skill Tree.

No Adorned | No Voices (yet) | No Temporalis

Offense:

The build revolves around reducing enemies Chaos Resistance to 0% while rapidly applying Withered, achieving an effect which exceeds the one of Rakiata`s Flow.

Although Withered is unfortunately capped at 80% increased Chaos damage taken, we reach the cap almost instantly through:

(EDIT: False Information! Withered is increasing its effect in steps of 20% magnitude. I tested with 179% instead of 160% (the 80% increased damage taken) therefore i was mislead by my own testing. Shoutout to [u/Weird-Enthusiasm8638](u/Weird-Enthusiasm8638) for helping me correcting this assumption. 180% magnitude will lead to 90% increased damage taken, 200% to 100%... you got the picture. I won`t correct any DPS numbers as they are not as important at this stage of the build)

  • Withered Touch on Spark
  • Withering Presence
  • Wither Away

In addition, Idol of Egrin socketed in Alpha's Howl causes cursed enemies (which is nearly everything) to take an additional 6% increased damage.

At level 100, the build reaches over 1000% Critical Damage Multiplier (currently 942% at level 97) while maintaining 2.25 Cast on Critical Arc procs per second.

With Lightning Infusion (currently unsupported in PoB for CoC Arc), Sigil of Power and Mana Tempest we reach a total DPS of 10 million\ with the in PoB unsupported effect of Seed of Cataclysm on Loreweave) , even without accounting for*:

  • Inevitable Agony

This effect pushes the build's damage beyond what PoB currently displays.

*(1,418 base DPS * 2.25 (2.254) combined effect of an upgraded Sigil of Power (Edit: Sigil was already used in PoB - my bad. Withered above 160% will make up for the gap. Triple checked numbers will appear in the video build guide) and Mana Tempest * 3 (200% increased with lightning infusion - confirmed with ingame tooltips and personal experience) * approximately 1.05 seed of cataclysm effect = 9,57 generously rounded to 10)

Why Arc an not Comet?:

  • Scales extremely well with hit damage and projectile skill levels.
  • Deals damage instantly instead of waiting for Comet's impact.
  • Keeps the screen much cleaner while maintaining excellent clear speed.

Zarokh Burn Setup

The build can one-burn Zarokh (75% less damage taken version) during a single Time Freeze + Incinerate window with virtually no risk (as seen in video showcase).

This requires a small gear swap:

  • Katla's Gloom gloves (with Ignite/Burning magnitude and duration modifiers)
  • Prism of Belief with Incinerate
  • Optionally, a Megalomaniac featuring two Burn modifiers (avoid "Damaging Ailments deal damage faster")

These swaps are only necessary for no-hit runs or carry runs in order to reduce loss of honour.

For general mapping, you can safely remove:

  • Incinerate
  • Blackflame Covenant

By now, I'm emotionally attached to Incinerate... even though the build definitely doesn't need it. (Blackflame Chaos Chronomancer - Broken on a Budget on YT but pssht)

Defence:

The build offers excellent survivability through:

  • Triple Curse Aura via Blasphemy
  • Chronomancer's Phased Form
  • Time Snap cooldown resets (especially valuable for Convalescence and Time Freeze)
  • My beloved panic button: Time Freeze

With Second Wind II, Time Snap allows us to chain these cooldowns up to six times in succession.

Loreweave also raises our maximum resistances to 80%.

Utility:

With Temporal Chains Socketed in Blasphemy and Blink as well as 75% movement speed multiplier no enemy will catch us and we are able to clear maps fast.

I hope you have as much fun playing this build as I've had creating and optimizing it!

This is the final mirror form of a 3 level build guide i`m working on rn.

Video Showcase and build explanation coming soon (end of July) on YouTube (@M4rderhund).

Attention: PoB is not displaying Atziri`s Communion on CoC Arc.

Build [0.5] Alt Leveling Setup for Every Class — Level 1 to Interludes for Around 5 Div

Thumbnail

I put together a leveling setup for alt characters that can be used on any class from Level 1 through the Interludes.

This is not meant to be a league starter. The goal was to create a strong reusable setup for players who already have some currency and want to level new characters as quickly and smoothly as possible.

The full setup costs around 5 Divines

Guide: https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/profile/pretty-gun-jtz9qh/builds/baae08e7-8d80-409e-a414-aee9a35938de

Let me know if there are any other low-level uniques you think would improve the setup.
