Does anybody remember the person that posted on here around a month-ish ago saying that LID’s birthday was soon and mentioned an interview with their YouTube channel linked to it? I thought they said it was going to be released today. I see no signs of it though. I just want to make sure I’m not going crazy! I think it’s pretty odd that I can’t find anything about it now. Also the YouTube channels name is ‘Breadbin Urie’. I subbed when I first heard about it and they have a short talking about it but I don’t know the release date for sure.

There absolutely still time to send in questions!!! And I’ll tell you guys right now, this guy could interview himself. I don't mean that the song is too bad, but I mean that the song have so much emotions and it can make it so hard to listen, there is something about it make you feel that feeling that you can't describe for how good is it. It can be one of the best songs from them for you, or it can be your best idk.
For me it's far too young to die, I think this is one of the rare songs who make me tear up

HERES MY LIST OF QUESTIONS SO FAR:
1-How did you begin working with the band? Who reached out to who?
2-Did you work with the band while they were up in the cabin? Or did you only begin working with them when they came down to LA?
3-When you first met with the band, how much material did they have? We’re there any recorded demos
4-On June 19th (about a month before the album was scrapped), Ryan said*”We've got about nine songs complete with lyrics and melodies and everything. Right now we're still finishing writing the last three or four songs”*. However, in 2008 after the album was scrapped, each band member floated around the idea that there were around 5-7 songs demoed OR that it was about 3/4th of the way complete. But, years later, Brendon Urie said that only about 3 were demoed. From your standpoint, how far along would you say the album actually was before they scrapped it?
5-In all my research, your name only ever came up in one article. (ALTPRESS ISSUE #288). They list your name as co-producer… However, according to a 2022 interview with Rob Mathes, it’s unclear as to whether or not he was all-that present during the album's creation. What exactly was his role in the album, and would it be more fitting to call you the producer? Or was it really a co-producing relationship?
6-Was there any concept art for album covers or stage design?
7-Do you have any notes or manuscripts that Ryan wrote about what the concept/story of the album was supposed to be? Interviews revealed that it was going to be a “doomed love affair”.
8-On July 7th, 2007, at Milwaukee Summerfest, the band played a song that fans have dubbed “It’s True Love”. Do you have the official title of this song? Can you confirm the lyrics?
9-Did you or Rob Mathes co-write anything with the band?
10-In 2008, the band appeared on Fall Out Boys Welcome to the New Administration Mixtape, where they released the demo Nearly Witches under the band name “The Paul Revere Jumpsuit Apparatus”. Did they reach out to you to release this demo? And if so, do you know why they chose to release it under a different name?
11-Are these lyrics legit?
12- Rob Mathes said that “Behind The Sea” on Pretty. Odd. carries some elements of the scrapped album, and Jon Walker said that “She Had The World” is most similar to the songs from that album. Are you able to point to any specific part of a song and go “that’s from my album!”?
13 - In Kerrang! Magazine: Issue 1169 (July 28th, 2007), the band is asked about song titles, to which they jokingly list off “There Was Once A Man From Nantucket”, “ Folkin' Around”, “I Don't Have A Shirt, But I've Got A Hat”, “Fill Me Up”, and “Porridge”. Years later, Jon Walker tweeted directly confirming that the songs “...Nantucket” “I Don’t Have A Shirt…” “Porridge” and “Fill Me Up” were fake… but interestingly, he left out “Folkin’ Around”, leaving fans to think that maybe it was a real title… especially because on Pretty. Odd., there is a song with that same name. However, in another Kerrang interview, Brendon states: “We’ve always wanted a song called “Folkin’ Around”, and I think it was just a good excuse to use it”. Can you confirm wether or not there was actually a song on Cricket & Clover called Folkin’ Around?

I'm fairly new to the band, discovering them album by album. First 2 albums were legit 10/10, almost flawless albums. For some reason I skipped a few and went to VLV next and it's.... Incredible?
I honestly don't understand why this is so low on most people's tierlists. VLV, Say It Louder, Something about Maggie, Local God, God killed Rock and Roll... This album is amazing?? I'm really confused as to why this was so poorly received, and if it's one of those albums that retrospectively has been received far better than it was upon release?
Listening to my fav song off V&V, and it just evokes so many feelings tbh. Brendon wrote this for his wife, which is just so touching. I always fantasize about a guy quoting this song to me when he finally works up the desire to express his love. 😌 Maybe one day.
There's a video for the song "Tied To The Tracks" that shows a GIF of the DOAB album cover where the car is floating on the water, just like an animated GIF. I've searched all over the internet but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know how I can get it?
With some of the music leaks we’ve had from MCR and Deftones in the past year or so, i’m curious if anyone has any sort of confidence that we could ever get to hear cricket and clover as it was left. C&C has been on my mind since I heard about it yearsss ago
