when i talk about browsers i use i mostly dont mention the name 'Pale Moon' but just say 'a Firefox based browser'

because i dont want to hear those lies about PM anymore

this is almost over 5th time they broke Pale Moon with their idiotic verification system

It was a little bit challenging for me to install Pale Moon on Linux because I’m still learning and I wanted the browser to update without removing and installing new updates manually. It looks like it will be able to update from the browser now. I also wanted to launch the browser from the desktop without having to navigate through the mapp. But it seems like I figured it out and now it’s working the way I want it.

So it’s gonna be fun to learn how to customize it and maybe add a few extensions as well. I’m used Firefox that’s already installed on Linux and also to Opera which was super simple to install.

I really like the niche and a bit retro style browser not made by big tech and have privacy in mind, so i think this will be really fun and interesting!

I'm unable to sign into Reddit on Pale Moon. I can't even sign in using old Reddit. Does anyone have any fixes for this?

i dont understand why nobody is bothering to make a modern web browser for Android KitKat. but i need a reliable browser that is compatible with older systems & works with modern sites which New Moon already does but only for PCs such as XP. would be good if someone ports the Goanna engine to Android & make a new Android browser

i got this while trying to download pale moon on my new computer. I've never got this before even while being up to date on security updates, so why now?

especially one based on roytam1's XP fork to support XP...

then i wont need to use the idiotic Electron or NW.js while still use CSS and JS to make applications while still using modern CSS and JS syntaxes

i noticed that the post image just refuses to load :( ik i can go onto another browser for pinterest only but its kinda annoying, if theres anything out there that can help get the main image to show that would be great! ^ ^

Im on macos and i just started using palemoon and i really like it. But im not sure if i should use duckduckgo or another search engine with it. any recommendations?

those creatures have broke this verification thing in Pale Moon once again. those creatures have serious issues & they already have broke the verification system in Pale Moon over 4 times over the last 6 years. whats wrong with their malfunctioning brains?

also same goes to SoundCloud bot detection system. whenever i try to do something in SoundCloud "You have been blocked" screen pops out & blocks my whole IP address. when this system isnt triggered when im very lucky the site just works fine without issues in Pale Moon. developers of this system also need serious freaking help.

i posted a screenshot of Pale Moon in another subreddit & someone commented "why do you use Pale Moon? it's pretty outdated on today's standards". why on the freaking Earth there are so many plonkers who are brainwashed about various nonsense FUDs about Pale Moon?

in about:support it says async pan zoom not supported in my system but in Firefox 140 ESR/148 in same hardware it says it's supported.

layers.async-pan-zoom.enabled is already true

(dont tell me to main Firefox Quantum. it will never happen unless they restore XUL extensions)

i need the XP method because Fixedsys font doesnt work when DirectWrite is enabled.

i tried setting

but it still wont work.

do not say to use Fixedsys Excelsior; this cant be an alternative because original Fixedsys always displays in 12pt/16px font size regardless of zoom or CSS font-size but Excelsior's font size changes based on CSS & it doesnt look good when its not 12pt.

i dont know why so many people are so critisising Pale Moon with false positive reasons like a psycopath, they really need to repair their brains, seriously.

Does someone know how to edit PaleMoon's branding to look like Firefox's? I know there's an extension that changes both the name and the icon of the program but I can't seem to find it

I installed a css editor via the addon page, but now I can't find it.

Try a different ways for connect Pale Moon 33.9.0.1 64-bit (GTK2) browser with Desktop Linux app KepassXC 2.7.10, but unsuccessfully. Installed PassieFox different versions dont give any results. Maybe something know other ways? Because, if Pale Moon dont support this, i cant use this browser for main tasks.

How have you guys set up your Pale Moon to your liking? Any specific settings or extensions you use, recommend, etc...

Now that Firefox has the Echelon theme, why would anyone use Pale Moon? For XUL extensions support? Are there actually any XUL extensions that you need and use?

The browser can't even load new reddit properly, is slow and laggy and hangs my computer because of the boneheaded insistence on keeping it single process.
