I'm in Hanoi during August and might purchase the 4P. But wondering if my P3 accessories, like the battery handle and form fitting case, would fit the 4P. I know the filters would need to be purchased new since two lenses, but how about the other stuff?

There are some things that took my attention on the first day using the Pocket 4:

• General usage is very intuitive. I was able to start recording out of the box
• Weight and processing of the device it self feel very good, sturdy and solid. I was very impressed by that fact. (I thought it would feel more "fragile")
• 1/4" tripod-connector - awesome
• But what I miss is a longer exposure-time when making photos in manual mode. Why only 4 seconds, but not 30 or even bulb? (I know that workaround when making a timelapse with low iso, but that is too much work for some photos)
• Why is it not possible to switch gimbal-modes with the C-button? (Or did I missed it?)

Now lets jump to mimo:

Editing manually has some flaws that should be improved to make it a real cool on-the-go-editor:

• When setting beat-markers on a song, why dont the clips snap to them?
• Why not landscape edit on android devices (at least on tablets?) - cant speak for iOS
• Why is it not possible to change the song in auto-edit and get it rearranged based on the new song?
• why are there no snappers on the speed-slider? sometimes it is very hard to hit that 50% mark / position

I cannot watch any of my records made with my Pocket 4 on my Samsung Tab S6 lite from 2021.

DJI Mimo app does not play them, I tried VLC too. Starts somehow but is very laggy.

I only have recorded in 1080p 50fps.

Any idea how to fix this?

Hello, new to the system.
Got already 4-5 videos with 3x zoom only and found that even on basic ISO 400 (D-LOG 1) the footage is much less sharper and detailed than on 1x zoom.

Wanted to know whether it's alright and I didn't mess anything up
(FPS 24/25 with shutter speed 1/50), bitrate set to high.
Shot on sunny day with ND256

I have recently experienced abnormal battery charging and battery behavior and would like to know whether this indicates a hardware issue covered under warranty.

Issue description
The camera begins charging normally, but after reaching a certain battery percentage, the charging speed becomes extremely slow.
Initially, it may charge quickly, but after reaching approximately 20–30%, it slows down dramatically, sometimes increasing only 1–2% over 8–10 hours.
If I unplug the charger, allow the camera to cool down, and plug it in again, it will often charge another 3–5% quickly before slowing down again.
Using this method, I have only been able to charge the battery to approximately 60%.

Troubleshooting performed
I have tested the camera using:
Anker 30W USB Power Delivery power bank
Original USB-C to USB-C cables
Original wall adapters
Multiple charging sources
The same behavior occurs regardless of the charging method.
I also tested the Battery Handle. When attached, the camera charges quickly for 1–2%, then charging slows down again.

Battery behavior during use
While recording (especially in 4K), the camera operates normally until it becomes warm. On several occasions, the camera has suddenly powered off and displayed an empty battery even though the battery indicator previously showed approximately 30–35% remaining.

Additional observation
When the camera is connected to a charger or the Battery Handle, I can hear a faint intermittent buzzing sound (similar to "zzzz... zzzz..."). I am unsure whether this is normal.

Camera condition
Apart from the battery issue:
Recording quality is normal.
Battery drain while recording appears normal.
Gimbal stabilization works correctly.
Autofocus and ActiveTrack function correctly.
All other camera functions appear to operate normally.

I contacted Dji support just want to know if someone else has experienced this?

Osmo Pocket 4: Why are there different fps available in 4k compared to 1080p in slowmotion? The ones for 1080p do not fit the eu lightings when recording, but the 4k ones do(200, 100)

For years, I've used a Panasonic camcorder connected via audio cable to a Zoom audio recorder. However, I'm intrigued with the form factor of the Pocket 3, which I already own. I know I can buy an adapter to connect the Zoom so, hopefully, the sound is no issue.

Has anyone ever used the Pocket to record concerts? I don't plan on color grading. My plan is to stick the whole contraption on a monopod and simply record the show above the crowd, as I've done for years with the other setup.

Any thoughts are welcome!

Hi guys, I'm new here, just ordered my camera and is currently on its way.

I'm preparing for a test shoot, and I've been wondering about something:

I'm gonna shoot in 1080p for the most part. So let's say there's a shot I want to film, but the subject far away so I need to zoom in a lot. What's the best course of action with the pocket 4?

I've been thinking about shooting that scene in 4k with the 4x zoom, and then down scaling it to 1080p. Would that clip retain a quality comparable to regular 1080p? Or should I use 4k with 2x and then crop it in post?

There’s been a lot of confusion about importing the OP4/OP4P from Asia and “just buying Care Refresh there” to get worldwide replacement. DJI’s own documentation makes it very clear that this doesn’t work.

First, the Care Refresh Terms of Service state:

1.5 International Warranty Service

If DJI products specified in the Service Agreement are provided with International Warranty Service (please refer to the FAQ for supported models) from DJI official stores or any other authorized channels with valid proof of purchase, you can apply for services at any of the global DJI official service centers that provide DJI Care Refresh services once DJI Support confirms that the product fault falls within the scope of service.

The determination rules and the terms of service are subject to the country or region where you apply for DJI Care Refresh.

The scope of coverage is detailed in Clause 2: Service Scope.

If DJI products specified in the Service Agreement are not entitled to the International Warranty Service, services will be only available in countries or regions selected at the time of purchase of DJI Care Refresh.

So the rule is simple. If the product is on the supported‑models list, you get international coverage. If it’s not, you don’t.

And when you check DJI’s own page called “About DJI Care Refresh International Warranty Service”, the list of handheld products with international Care Refresh coverage is right there. It includes Osmo Mobile, Ronin, Osmo Action, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, and for the Pocket line it only lists Osmo Pocket 3 and DJI Pocket 2.

Osmo Pocket 4 and Osmo Pocket 4P are not on that list.

So yes, Pocket 3 and Pocket 2 have international Care Refresh coverage. Pocket 4 and Pocket 4P do not. If you buy one in China, your Care Refresh coverage stays in China. There’s no worldwide replacement and no loophole.

I am planning to get one to improve my shots when traveling as I am looking to add a more cinematic touch. I own a DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Do anyone here owns one? If so, would love to hear your thoughts and maybe it can help me make a decision.

I just got a brand new pocket 4, however upon taking off the gimbal protector, the screen swivels at an angle. I also tried putting the screen to landscape but it’s also at an angle is this normal?!

I just updated the Pocket 4 to the latest firmware. It behaved a bit weirdly, like it showed me a tutorial of what all those buttons do, things it didn't show me when I first bought it, but I payed no mind to it. But now I notice that I cannot select any other mode except Video, not even Photo. Did this happen to anyone else? I don't know what I can do and I would like to avoid the Factory Reset. Is there a Hard Reset option or a way to reinstall the update?

I've bought an osmo pocket 1 second hand around 2 years ago, and I absolutely love it. I paid 100 euros for the osmo pocket, plus the soft case, the scroll wheel, the usb-c and lightning attachment, the wireless module and a general carrying case for everything.
Other than that, I find myself wanting more accessories, like some nd filters, a working tripod, the bigger cilinder case to charge it on the go, a mount to attach it to go pro body/car mounts and more random accessories.
The issue is that the DJI website does not sell those things and kits anymore, and I can't find anything at all on other websited, even aliexpress, temu or stuff like that have let me down.
I keep finding second hand accessories, but the sellers want to sell all of them together with the camera, and I can't afford to spend 200/300 euros for everything and then try to resell the stuff I don't need.

I would love to buy accessories, but I either can't find them, or they are insanely overpriced, or every person/website shows me stuff for the pocket 3 and 4, when I need stuff for the pocket 1, and it's incredibly frustrating.

Does anyone have any website recs that ship to europe/italy if we're being specific?

I just picked up the Pocket 4P Vlog Combo in store from a German retailer.

They were surprised themselves that it had been delivered last night. But they’re already all sold out, since there were only a handful in stock.

Still, July 30 or Q3 clearly doesn’t seem to be the correct delivery date…

Maybe you’ll call your retailer and ask for an update on your order ;)

Hi, I’m new to this. Just bought the pocket 4p vlog combo + Black mist filter (I don’t even know what it does) errrr how do I research more and learn which lens to use at what moment?

To my understanding, the black mist kinda blurry a bit and make it all softer(???) but do I just use it always or do I wanna swap it out for the default lens?

I ordered mine already, but I am very curious about the image quality of photos taken with it. I plan to replace my - dont shoot me 😄 - Sony A7CII with it as I do not want to carry it around with me all the time, and barely go out shooting because of its size and weight.

Kind of specific, how do I find the pocket 4 + creator bundle accessories in China? I’m looking to have my relatives buy it online so I can pick it up from them when I visit, but I can’t find the creator bundle (as seen in US) specifically on Taobao.

I just got my P4P, and so far I'm really pumped. But DJI PLEASE add D-LOG2 and DLOG to the slowmo mode! I really used that feature a lot on my Pocket 3 and the slomo really isn't going to be super useful without it, at least for me.
