Half the budget will be spent on finding a Greek guy who can speak Homeric Greek, also his last name can’t be ending with -oglou since that’s surely a sign of ottoman influence and would not be period accurate

Yeah so I can see it being pretty inexpensive. Just a theatre of sorts, a crowd, and a guy orating the tale.
