Not really, because unlike Bible Odyssey didn’t have some of the most powerful people of its time regularly convene to editorialize it and remove some previously added stories because they didn’t fit their goals of controlling and subjugating illiterate masses.
When has this literally ever been documented to have happened lol. The main convenings for the Biblical canon were synods (Council of Rome, Council of Carthage, etc.), not even ecumenical councils. I state this because the 7 Ecumenical Councils are the only councils which were called together by the emperor. The synods I mentioned earlier were just smaller councils called for by a bishop and were localized to one city. So, that disproves your Illuminati conspiracy theory about "the most powerful people" trying to subjugate the masses. Most of these synods just reaffirmed what many theologians, such as Augustine of Hippo, Athanasius, Origen, and Jerome, all agreed upon. These synods have the exact same books as the Roman Catholic bible today. However, many theologians over the centuries also disagreed on the inclusion of some Intertestamental books (aka the Apocrypha or Deuterocanonical books), and so Protestants recognized them as noncanonical but still profitable for teaching. Either way, at no point has the Church removed books or texts to make it easier to subjugate the masses.
So much text with so little meaning. You expect churches (synods or just local whatever) to specifically have written documents that say “we exclude The Gospel of Thomas/Shepard of Hermas (which was very popular BTW and included in many codices) or the Gospel of Mary or whatever because we are bad guys” or what? The distinction between canon Bible and apocryphal texts is entirely arbitrary and mostly driven by church politics not some deep archeological research into text origins or “divine nature” of them.
A quick cursory search can explain why all the books you mentioned were not included in the canon. E.g., the Gospel of Thomas was barely mentioned as canonical by any of the church fathers, who are quite the diverse bunch if you actually study them. You are just anachronistically assuming malicious intent without any evidence or nuance put into your conclusions.
