Is the M31 at York and 69th ( in front of NYP/Weill Cornell Hospital) heading north not active??
They moved the stop from one side of the college's entrance to the other, right in the middle of where all the food trucks are, although they put in seats as well. Food trucks still park there anyways, its ridiculous that there is no enforcement, but even when they dont, I regularly see the bus (not even half full) ignore the people waiting there and drive right by.
Many of these are patients or nurses, and they all seem confused as to why its not stopping. The bus driver seems to make eye contact and people will sometimes physically indicate they want to get on as the bus approaches, but they still drive on by?
This happened to me twice before I gave up and just walked thr 10 blocks, but bc there is a constant cycle of patients coming and going, this just seems to happen over and over again (my window faces this stop so I see this happen a lot, many of whom are ill/have mobility issues... it is a hospital after all).
Is it no longer a stop? It is on the official MTA app still? So confused.
Edit/update: I appreciate everyone's help. No solution as of now. There was a group of 5 or 6 highly-visible people waiting at bus stop today trying to actively flag down driver and they did not stop so I have to assume that for whatever reason they are not able or wanting to pick up from here, even when no food trucks are blocking. So...I guess im walking lol
