Issued by highly regarded Northumberland merchant and businessman John Robertson, this nice EF example catalogs as Dalton 1 and is one of the few halfcrown British tokens of the Regency Period. Only two or three are denominated "XXX Pence."

As an aside, if you've ever wondered what a hippocampus is, you're looking at two of them.

Found in my change at Walmart after the kiosk declined my card. What a pull.

This coin came to us as part of an inherited collection. Our questions are if the splotches of copper are normal or considered detrimental to its value, and if it’s worth grading.
