Bigotfest is being hosted by Diagolon and Second Sons in a yet-to-be-disclosed location in or around North Bay July 24-26. It is being marketed as a “family-friendly trade show” but is actually a gathering of nearby white supremacists. Bigotfest is supplying the food and drink, and has many hallmarks of a Klan meeting.
A Redditor had a genius idea to host an inclusivity event nearby, which would be incredible.

Persons of colour and other marginalized people (namely LGBT) please stay safe this weekend 🤙🏼

If anybody has some free time and a camera they should definitely take pictures of who’s going there so people can know who not to hire/employ.

I find it ridiculous that any of these current council memebers are running again. 30 years of living and voting in this city. This council has been the most discombobultated and dysfunctional council yet!

I get kind of bored when im on time out as i don't know anyone in north bay. I work a 2 n 2 schedule currently at a mine. Does anyone know of a company or business in town that would take someone every two weeks to help them out? Capable, hardworking 46/m, open to anything legit. Entry level is fine, its actually preferred. Will be a break from my career and perhaps ill finally meet some people in town. Low pay is fine too! Have a vehicle...any ideas?

River and Sky. Voyageur Days.

Busy weekend 'round here this weekend. I've never been to either but I kinda wanna go to both. Please tell me more about both.

River and Sky. Fisher's Paradise, out past Field. Starts today and goes thru weekend. Campground converted for this camping festival. I guess this year is the first they are offering day passes with no camping? More indie bands. Seems like relaxing camping first and decent music and art installation 2nd. Maybe I got it wrong, correct me.

Voyageur Days. Mattawa. Fri, Sat and Sun. Music 1st, optional camping 2nd. Much more daytime activities. The website isn't clear, is it just paying for the music and town activities are free? What's the vibe here? More for kids until night? Lots of campers? Maybe I got it wrong.

Seems like either option for a day only will run me $100-150. Not terrible for local fun. Camping is enticing too though. Tell me about your past experiences and why we should go.

I'm coming to visit for two nights before traveling out west and also wondering what to see and do.

Looking to finally get some knots worked out of my back and wondering if there is someone you really recommend or maybe someone you don't.

Every Wednesday at work, we sell hot dogs for staff lunch, "Weenie Wednesday."

For our final hot dog Wednesday of the summer, I had a very important thought:

Wouldn't it be hilarious if a whole pack of dachshunds just... showed up to Weenie Wednesday?

I'm looking for local dachshund owners who'd be willing to stop by for a short little meet-up so we can surprise our staff with a bunch of long dogs at everyone's lunch break.

It would only be about 15–20 minutes, and all pups would need to be friendly around people and other dogs.

Found an orange stray cat probably 6 months old 3 days ago living in our shed. If anyone is missing a orange cat in the area of 700 block of McIntyre St E DM a picture and we'll drop him off if it's him. We've been checking Facebook and called the humane society and checked with them. We'll be monitoring Facebook and checking DMs but in 3 days if we don't find his owner, we're going to assume he's unwanted and will be making an appointment for him to be chipped and neutered.
