I was just curious about this so i wonder what NOAH would look like if Kawada had joined too and all four pillars of heaven were in NOAH. I know AJPW would suffer a lot worse but i'm specifically talking NOAH

Haste would endure interference from T2X, only to be saved by his WRS stablemates (KENTA, HAYATA & Endo); ultimately, OZAWA would be unable to hit his “Real Rebel” Phoenix Splash, with Haste taking his head off with a massive Lariat, followed by getting the “Bomb Valley Death” to get the pinfall and retain. Shane is now at V3.

Afterwards, Tetsuya Naito would come out and confront Haste. Haste would mention the fact he beat Naito in the 2023 G1 Climax but didn’t receive a shot at Naito’s IWGP but said that Naito proved himself with his victory over Kaito Kiyomiya, as Shane accepted Naito’s challenge.

Championship will be contested under a rule of a match lasting only 200 seconds.

Tournament will be held on August 9th and 10th in Korakuen Hall, with the following rules in place:

- Instead of a 20 or 10 count, a 5-count will be used.

- In the case of a time limit draw, both players will be knocked out of the tournament. In the event of all matches going to a time-limit, rematches will be held at a later date.

- A special provision for the Final: in the event of a time limit draw, a time extension will be considered.

Kenoh vs Alpha Wolf

AMAKUSA vs Tetsuya Endo

HAYATA vs Masa Kitamiya

August 10th - Final

Eita would survive BUSHI’s Posion Mist and BUSHI’s Avalanche MX (Codebreaker), to rally with the Superkicks and even smear BUSHI’s own Mist back in his face, eventually locking the “Numero Uno” (seated armbar) submission on BUSHI, forcing a tap.

Eita makes his second successful defense.

Afterwards, Kai Fujimura would come out from under the ring and hit Eita with the “Golasso”, making it known he would be the next challenger.

Quite frankly, Naito’s best singles match in quite some time. He and Kiyomiya really clicked, as Kiyomiya pretty much beat Naito like a drum, taking advantage of his body being in vastly better shape.

Despite all that, Naito was able to move like his old self (for perhaps one night), taking advantage of Kiyomiya’s missed openings.

In the end, despite Kaito hitting the Shining Wizards, the Tiger Suplex and the Tiger Driver ‘23, Naito would be able to catch Kaito with the Destino roll-up, getting the pinfall.

YO-HEY has returned! And his return opponent will be Tadasuke.

In a damn good match, Marufuji would counter Kenoh’s PFS in midair with a Ko-oh knee strike, followed by by more Ko-ohs and finally finishing Kenoh off with the Shiranui (first time Marufuji has won a big match with that move in a good while).

Afterwards, KENTA would confront Marufuji and make the next challenge for the National Title.

In a crazy fast-paced Junior Tag, Champs retain after Bane hit the “Santa Maria” on KAMEI for the pinfall.

Champs make their 4th successful defense.

Soya & Iino would rally past Kitmaiya & Sugiura again T2X tactics (bringing a chair in and using Soya & Iino’s Tag League trophies against them), with Soya & Iino hitting the PassionIS on Kitamiya to get the pinfall (in view of the very trophy that Kitamiya had broken and disrespected).

Champs make their first successful defense.

In a super intense short match, Inamura and Fujita would throw everything at each other.

Inamura would hit Fujita with a super high-angle Backdrop Driver, Fujita would respond with punt kicks to Inamura’s head. The two would trade Lariats back and forth, with Inamura eventually clocking Fujita with a punch. Inamura would hit two MUSO Slams on Fujita, followed by some punt kicks of his own to Fujita’s skull, finishing Fujita off with the Folding Powerbomb (Fujita’s own “Beast Bomb”).

Afterwards, the two would shake hands and slap each other some more.

Although Daiki Odashima would be valiant and give another star-making performance (including hitting a diving splash off the top of the ladder onto several outside!), Alpha Wolf would ultimately prove to be too much, Powerbombing Odashima into a ladder in the corner, before climbing the ladder and retrieving the N-1 contract.

The title says it all. Lay it on me, what are the best NOAH matches ever?

Highlights:

Kaito Kiyomiya and Tetsuya Naito:

Kiyomiya talked about the fact he hopes Naito never gets to challenge for the GHC Heavy after this but he also says he looks toward to facing someone of Naito’s caliber/popularity. Naito talked about the fact that he sees Kiyomiya as the face of NOAH and has always wanted to face him on that basis. Naito admits that he doesn’t feel a strong connection to the GHC Heavyweight Championship, that he grew up loving NJPW and the IWGP Heavy but he also says he’s grown fond of NOAH over the past year.

Eita and BUSHI:

Eita showed up but BUSHI was late. When BUSHI arrived, he sprayed Eita with Posion Mist. BUSHI says he’ll become the new face of the NOAH Juniors.

Manabu Soya & Yuki Iino and Masa Kitamiya & Takashi Sugiura:

Soya & Iino criticized their challengers for breaking their trophies, only for Kitamiya to state that the trophies are cheap (lol). Sugiura didn’t say anything the whole time, lol. Quickly, a fight broke out, resulting in Kitamiya & Sugiura getting the upper hand, as they flipped the table that had the Tag Belts and Tag League trophies on it, breaking them again.

Naomichi Marufuji and Kenoh:

Kenoh talked about the fact that he has a manifesto for when he beats Marufuji and takes Maru’s VP position in Cyberfight; Kenoh says he’ll take Maru’s social media away, saying that Maru posts things on there that tarnish Maru’s own reputation; Kenoh says he’ll limit the amount of NOAH shows in Tokyo to 5 a month; Kenoh says that NOAH asks their fans to spend too much money on expensive tickets; he also says that NOAH should hold free shows for members of the NOAH fan club. Marufuji says that if he loses, having his social media taken away is a fair idea but disagrees with Kenoh on only 5 shows in Tokyo a month; Maru said that they should strive to increase the number of fans and the number of events at the same time. Maru says that the idea of having free events for NOAH fan club members is a good idea. Maru says that he talked to the Cyberfight President (Sanshiro Takagi) and says that if Kenoh wins, he’ll become VP but says that if Kenoh wishes to have “Director” added to his name, it’ll have to be approved by the board and shareholders. Maru would end by saying he believes that Kenoh isn’t actually the mastermind of these ideas but that someone else in the company is putting ideas in Kenoh’s head.

Shane Haste and OZAWA:

OZAWA talks about the lower attendance for NOAH and says it’s due to the fact that NOAH fans can see through Haste’s lack of love for the promotion. OZAWA goes on to say that Shane is someone who would go to NJPW and say “I love Antonio Inoki”, then would go to WWE and say “I love John Cena”, then would go to NOAH and say “I love Kenta Kobashi”. OZAWA would once again mistranslate Shane’s words, saying “Shane says that he’s proud to be champion to NOAH (truth) but that he also said he’ll allow anyone to to come to the match and interfere (false). Shane would go on to say that he thinks OZAWA is a genuinely great wrestler but that he shouldn’t rely on these dirty tricks. OZAWA would then appear to get emotional and say he was moved by Shane’s acknowledgment of him and says he believes Shane’s love of the GHC is genuine; OZAWA says he won’t allow any interference from T2X in the match. Conference would end with Kitamiya & Sugiura coming out to attack Shane, only for OZAWA to separate them, before extended his hand to Shane, with Shane saying “If you betray my trust, I’m going to beat you to a pulp”.

Haste quotes:

“I mean, I’ve liked my past opponents as people, but I hate OZAWA. I know what he’s done to the people I care about. I’m generally friendly to everyone, but I know I have an evil side and a quirky side to me, so I might end up showing a side of myself I’ve never shown before to take him down.”

“When I listen to him on the mic, he talks with this air of ‘Everyone must love me,’ like he’s pretty full of himself. But he didn’t get as many cheers as he expected. He’s not as popular as he claims, and maybe people don’t actually like him? So, in many ways, I’m going to teach him a lesson about reality. I’ll show him that he’s not as great as he thinks he is… So to speak, I want to tear off his mask.”

(in response to who he wants to win the #1 contenders match between Kiyomiya and Naito) “Kaito Kiyomiya, of course. I absolutely want Kaito to win this one—I want to face him in a GHC Heavyweight title match. I don’t want to accept Naito’s challenge. After all, I beat him at New Japan’s G1 CLIMAX, but he wouldn’t let me challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight title. I’ve known Kaito since he was a new recruit, and it would be awesome to see just how much he’s grown through a title match.”

“That would prove I’m the true top star in NOAH, which would be amazing. But it’s not good to think too far ahead. Right now, I’m focused on OZAWA. I know full well that OZAWA is an opponent I absolutely can’t take lightly. He might act lazy or play pachislot machines to cover his bases in case he loses, but I plan to win in a way that leaves him with absolutely no excuses. I’m going to make him cry right there in the ring.”

Shane’s reply:

While this may seem like an odd choice, I’m hoping this means we get a super intense slugfest for those 5 minutes.

Also, I’d be down if they keep their feud going, with each match having 5 or more minutes tacked on; I’ve been loving everything with these two.
