So after years of watching 2b porn I have to say that this game was PEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAK. This game was genuinely amazing and it's definitely the best game i've ever played.

The story was simply amazing. Every single story mission was a blast, and the areas you explored were so incredibly interesting. I was captivated from start to finish and I absolutely fell in love with the cast, they are so well written. Also I absolutely loved the themes of the story and how philosophical it was. One of my favourite parts was also that the game didn't really have a main villain, rather the characters struggles were against their destiny, their place in the world, their true nature and the way they should live their lives.

Also the replay mechanic was executed flawlessly.Route A and B were a bit predictable with their plot twists, but the story they told was still very solid and I really liked how each route complemented each other by telling the same story through the eyes of different characters. And then the real meat of the game comes. It's a shame that 2b dies so early, but what they did with 9s was really cool. And I also really liked A2 as a character. This part started incredibly strong with the destruction of yorha, and it was the perfect narrative decision for the story and characters. The struggle for meaning gets taken to a whole other level since the character's only guiding force was taken from them. But the game takes it a step further and has reveals that fell like bombs, which make 9s despair even more.

Both ending C and D are quite tragic, with each showcasing the resolve A2 and 9s respectively have to complete their final mission which is the cherry on top for both their characterisation. Ending E was also really cool, I liked the narrative device of making the minigame impossible without the help of others, although I have to say that it felt just a tiny bit forced, but I am all for happy endings so I do not mind at all. Also the final message was truly beautiful.

As a side note it sucks what they did to my goat Emil. Also I found the bait with Devola and Popola really funny, at first I rolled my eyes because I thought they would betray us again, but then they helped 9s hack the tower and i was extremely relieved. I also really liked them as characters and I liked their tragic story.

Overall, I absolutely loved this game. 9.5/10

I was really hyped and really Wanted to play this game. I told one of my so called "friends" about it and without missing a beat they told me that everyone including the mc dies. I don't even know who the mc is but now I don't even wanna play the game because I know everyone is going to die. I will be still playing the game but will the experience be ruined for me?

Hey guys, currently playing through Automata, I have 58 out of the 60 quests completed, one of the two I have left is Emil’s determination and I’m not ready for that yet, says I have 4/5 of 9S’ quests done in chapter 13-03 and 13-04, can’t find a marker or anything, tried walking around and doing other stuff to trigger it, any ideas?

Sharing the word about a new way to play Nier games thats really cool and immersive.

Berserker made Osiris Viewer and 6dof profiles for it. Now we can already play both Nier games in 6dof vr like with great geo 11 3D. He made more than 30 6dof profiles already, and we need to find a 3D tech to work with each game.

The setup for Nier 1 and 2 is: Osiris Viewer + 6dof profiles from Berserker (both available on his github) + geo 11 3D fixes from Master Otaku (Helix Blog site) + Nier games. The install is mostly drag and drop files alongside the game .exe, but the sites provide readme for simple details. Looks too much to do, but once you do the first, the other geo 11 3D games are all the same setup.

We are lucky that we have those geo 11 3D fixes handcrafted from Master Otaku, because they work really great in 3D or 6dof + 3D. We can play on VR headsets or devices with cameras to track or head movements.

6dof. Six degrees of freedom. mean we can look around and lean inside and out of the game, like a VR native game.

Since we have hud and texts, I recommend playing in a really giant screen on Osiris Viewer, so we dont miss game information. Maybe there is a way to put the info on the center of the screen and we can go full vr dive on it? Share with us if u know!

Other games suggestions are Ni no kuni, Yakuza games (0, kiwami 1 and 2, 6 and 7 ) on legacy Steam or GOG versions with geo 11 3D. Persona 5 and Metaphor have 6dof profiles too, but we ll need to find a good 3D that will work for them because for now we dont have handcrafted fixes or an alternative. Hopefully we ll get Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 6dof profiles too wich have geo 11 3D fixes.

Couple of months after getting Pearl Harbor Descent Vol.1, this is the only thing I could get my hands on. LSS and SSL. Still waiting on Vol.2-4, wish me luck!
