After twelve years spent carrying one of post-punk’s great catalogues through theatres, festivals, and anniversary tours, Echo & The Bunnymen have reopened the door to the studio. The Liverpool band have announced Apples for Isaac, their thirteenth album and first full-length collection of newly written material since 2014’s Meteorites. The album arrives on September 18th via BMG.

Its first single, “Brussels Is Haunted,” received its initial radio play on BBC Radio 6 Music from Chris Hawkins before appearing on streaming services, accompanied by an animated video directed by Belgian filmmaker Jef De Smet.

The Fools were a band out of Massachusetts in the late 70s and early 80s. These guys had several huge hits locally and I actually thought the hits were huge nationwide so I really had no intention of posting them. But for the hell of it I looked them up and saw there hits were really only huge right here in Mass and RI. So here they are..The Fools from 1980...It's A Night For Beautiful Girls.

I really love the music they made and it reminds me a lot of the third album by The Psychedelic Furs. My friend recommended me to listen to Asylum Party but they are way too dark for my taste. Any recommendations?
