You gotta cash in on chits early, or you'll be treated like a contractor who worked on a bankrupt NJ casino.

How much do you want to bet Trump promised them this money if they mediated because he couldn't get Iran to the table after he realized how badly he fucked up.

Yeah, the guy in charge doesn't like paying his bills. What is it going to take before people all over the world learn that any relationship with the guy is like a 1-way street?

Like Trump would pay even a legitimate bill.

He doesn’t care about taxpayer money. Send him a few $mil via his crypto business and that $10 billion could come quick.

Not even close to legit though. They are still fighting.

Yeah, but Pakistan has done everything they have been told to do by trump and they think he will pay them for it. Suckers.

Unfortunately we are stupid enough to fall for Pakistan's antics. We already give them billions in military aid. Trump is such a moron that he'll probably fall for this too.

Haha....for fucking what? A couple sketchy hotel rooms and security? Didn't they get a little favoritism in return with thier dispute with India? Also, why would you pay for 0 results?

Pakistan made more money from remittance ($38b sent back by overseas pakistanis) than exports ($30b) in 2025! The place survives on handouts thanks to its military dictatorship that ran the place into the ground.

u/tabrizzi 6h ago
I'm pretty sure people are free to send their money any where they feel like sending it to.

Well the BCCI bank got shut down, so that is no longer a laundry available to Pakistanis.

At least try and pretend to understand the numbers you're talking about.

u/kapsama 4h ago
As if India is much better. Survived on remittances for decades.

What's with this weird obsession pakistanis have on social media of bringing up misinformation about India in every topic about themselves.
A quick search from the worldbank shows youre completely wrong, like usual:
https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/BX.TRF.PWKR.DT.GD.ZS?locations=IN-PK&most_recent_value_desc=true1980 Remittance as % of GDP: Pakistan 10%, India 1%
2026 Remittance as % of GDP: Pakistan 10%, India 3.8%
lol

It's amusing how you Pakistanis always bring up India out of nowhere. Yet, I must say, India has far surpassed Pakistan these days.
Today as a portion of GDP, remittances are around 3% of India's GDP, yet they make up a massive 10% of Pakistan's GDP. India also has a higher GDP per capita than Pakistan, a higher HDI, and Pakistan has a poverty rate that is 3 times higher than India. Oh, and that's not even mentioning that India isn't the one begging us for 10 billion dollars, Pakistan is.

$10B to Pakistan, then 50% of that to Trump Org

Pakistan's government somehow makes the Trump Org look perfectly innocent

Does everyone want hand outs from us.
They should just pull their own bootstraps and work like the rest of us

u/EducationalImpact633 5h ago
They did mediate between you idiots and the Iranians that was attacked, do you think they should have done it for free ?
1
u/Exact_Package_7264 1h ago
how'd that "mediation" work out? now both iran and america know that pakistan lied to both sides to make it seem like a better deal, and the war is in full swing again.
3
u/FOTY2015 3h ago
Mercenary little shits. Maybe the US could consider their request if Pakistan destroys all of the Iranian planes they sheltered.

Can countries all over the world seek fund from US for making oil price going up ? I feel wronged

u/jumbee85 5h ago
For all the desire on the right to have a businessman president they sure as hell picked the wrong one because hes swiping the government credit card like a Zorp member the night of the end.

u/0fficerGeorgeGreen 4m ago
Lots of people saying the US won't pay that, and if it was Trump's own money you'd totally be right. But this is taxpayer money. Now imagine if there is some sort of kickback or other payment to Trump as part of this.
IMO, if Trump is able to make a single dollar for himself, he'll be willing to spend $10 billion of our money to get it. As long as there are NDAs signed of course.
