Modelling scout linked to Jeffrey Epstein found dead in Paris home
https://news.sky.com/story/modelling-scout-linked-to-jeffrey-epstein-found-dead-in-paris-home-135659172.0k
u/Softhijs 8h ago
According to this source he denied the allegations yet wanted to tell his side of the story, which unfortunately or 'coincidentally' has not been told yet.

u/DrDerpberg 7h ago
How long would it take for you to drop everything and address the allegations you're a pedo? Pretty sure I'd find the time in the 20 years or so since everyone found out what Epstein was.
129
u/Mansidhe 6h ago
Okay, not defending him, Rest in Piss and all that... but i find myself wondering how one would "address the allegations" successfully even if innocent?
Outside of "I was sent a catalog of obviously underage trafficked girls and I ripped the hard drive from my pc and sent it to the FBI (or whatever the local equivalent is) immediately, here's the delivery reciept" (the objectively correct action and response, for the record), I feel like anything you could say to such a repugnant accusation would be met with "yeah, that's what a pedo WOULD say". Right or wrong, an accusation would be as good as a conviction in the public eye.
I'm probably overthinking it. Just that I had a guy I called a good friend turn out to be a predator of the most disgusting kind, and I'm thinking about what could have happened had I been at his house when he got raided. The evil piece of shit had his (ambiguated, of course) CSAM on the living room media center where I spent countless hours gaming, watching movies, etc so I was regularly interacting with the machine. Makes me ill thinking about it.
117
u/CheeseDonutCat 6h ago
He literally found underage girls (models) and sent them to Epstein.
Not only is he bad. He's one of the worst of the whole bunch.
His interviews saying it was one or two 16 year olds don't match up with the thousands of times mentioned in the epstein files. There is nothing that exonerates this man.
62
u/FILTHBOT4000 5h ago
There is nothing that exonerates this man.
Nope, and there is far more than enough to implicate him, which makes you really wonder... why didn't the FBI talk to him? I thought Kash Patel said there were no leads, everything was done, nothing to see here? Did Dan Bongino say the same, after swearing for years he'd go after everyone involved?
So curious. So strange. But, I'm sure it's all just a big coincidence, and Trump has fought the full release of the files for well over a year now for very good reasons.
49
u/je_kay24 5h ago
We know why the FBI didnt talk to him
It is the same reason why they “accidentally” released victims names while kept the names redacted of those who actually committed the crimes against children
8
u/PM_Me_Good_LitRPG 4h ago
why didn't the FBI talk to him
They were busy driving Michael Jackson to suicide.
14
u/DrDerpberg 6h ago
Yeah I get it. That's why the line most celebrities came up with was that they didn't know, maybe it was poor judgment but he was just always around and they never really questioned it. Better for people to think you're dumb than evil.
I think you're right that ultimately the facts are what they are. If this guy fed her girls as an "agent" and never clued in that they were not getting modeling gigs out of this guy or dropped off the face of the earth after, there won't be a lot of ways to talk his way out of it. It's easier for celebrities who went to some parties to say there weren't underage girls at those parties.
6
u/ThomasVivaldi 5h ago
Coercion, blackmail, violence. Probably not in this case, might've just been greedy.
A network as big as Epstein's is, presumably, is going to have at least some people who aren't a part of it willingly.
Everyone on the internet is a paragon of morality, but in the real world when someone like Epstein says do this and get paid or we frame you and you'll spend the rest of your life in prison labeled as a pedo, most people will go along with it.
→ More replies (5)9
u/Different_Tadpole631 6h ago
Because anything but instantly ripping the hard drive out and sending it to the fbi or local equivalent is what a pedo, or a pedo enabler, would do.

u/mycondishuns 4h ago
What would addressing it do, other than bring more attention to the allegations? Allegations of being a predator or pedo are one of those things that unless you can prove you aren't (how tf does one even do that?) you are guilty until proven innocent in the eyes of society. Anyone can say "This person did X" in regards to CSA and CSAM, and a very large percentage of people are going to believe it, regardless of evidence or not; it's how these specific types of allegations are treated. Not addressing the allegations is really the only option this dude had. And no, I'm not defending him and his actions as a whole, just his decision to not address the allegations.

America elected Epstein's favourite Pedo President twice.
That's how that works.
Epstein was literally offed in his cell during Trump's first term.
Bill Bar, Trump's former DOJ official had crazy ties to Epstein, his Dad gave Epstein his first job at a kid's school.
20
u/PoisonTheAI 6h ago
Yeah but, now he can't spill the beans. And it's a bit like the Russian "fell out a window" theme. They want you to know you'll die if you show the slightest willingness to say anything.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

The unsettling truth is that the public facing side of fashion modelingband advertizing, the "legit" stuff was apparently deeply entertwined with high end escort businesses and outright trafficking.
So the guy could have been "legit" and a crook at the same time.

u/Pi-ratten 5h ago
, the "legit" stuff was apparently deeply entertwined with high end escort businesses and outright trafficking.
I mean.. that was kinda in th eopen, too.. i remember reading stories in the 90s in regular magazines about the "sex and drugs" in the model business where they described it.
Wolfgang Joop(old German fashion designer) got a shitstorm when he reminisced it 3 years ago after Karl Lagerfelds death
SPIEGEL: What came to an end when Lagerfeld died?
Joop: Fashion as wicked fun. Back when I was still working on Wunderkind, a powerful publishing executive once told me, “If you want good press, you have to send over a few mink coats.” That kind of corruption was normal back then.
SPIEGEL: And do you regret that it’s over?
Joop: I cried when Lagerfeld died because that world was so wonderfully frivolous and frigid. Everything was for sale. The agencies would hand over the keys to the rooms of models who weren’t bringing in as much money to rich men. And if a girl complained, they’d say, “We can do without you, too.”
SPIEGEL: That’s terrible!
Joop: Yes. But the fashion world is only truly beautiful when sin is part of it, too.

Okay but as a kid who did pageants, growing up in the 90's, it was not even a secret that these girls were being whored out. It was part and parcel of the "job" as I understood it as a six year old in that space. My own grandmother told me in no uncertain terms that she was one of the only things standing in the way of me getting raped by rich men. I have memories of being drugged as a child and waking up to things my brain still can't comprehend. I knew the phrase "lay back and think of England" and what that meant. The fact that people are just now going "wait that's bad" is wild to me as an adult who grew up in that world. This wasn't some "low down scoundreling" this was the business as presented to everyone on it. Any parents who let their children do this are the problem, because they knew. They knew they were selling their kids and they chose money over their own flesh and blood.

Always has been. That goes for the entire modelling and fashion industry. It is a predatory facade to abuse beautiful women (and men). Just a couple of years ago one of Germanys most famous fashion designers, Wolfgang Joop, publicly lamented how bad the modern times are because back in the day as a designer you were just handed the hotel keys to the models rooms and could do with them what you wanted, and that is no longer the case. He was actually sad about the change and talked about some retro gaming nerd missing the good old days. And for some reason that still riles me up that guy is still in business. His statements were just waved away as what Americans would call old guy lockerroom talk.

Because there was some urgency to kill this guy who has been completely free to talk at any time for a decade?
12

There was actually. A few months ago and investigation done by Der Spiegel in Germany linked him and Epstein to a missing girl from about a decade ago, with Said talking about her specifically to Epstein.

It may be true but almost every major clothing, sportswear, footwear, etc brand uses models. For me it’s hard to say “primarily”.
Maybe human traffickers primarily use modeling as a front, would be more accurate.

During the Cold War the CIA disclosed that they have a dart gun that fires frozen ice containing lethal shellfish toxin saxitoxin. Once inside the victim, the dart melts leaving nothing behind but a tiny red mark and resulting in a seemingly natural fatal heart attack.

Not saying this one isn’t possible but I recall seeing multiple times where people tried to create an “ice gun” of some kind and the ice just didn’t hold up to the forces exerted on it.

John Casablancas, Elite Model Management, Trump, Epstein, Jean-Luc Brunel. Those are the names. Trump supported JC and EMM directly. JLB and JC were connected to JE. If you're interested, it's right there. There was a video released a while ago about a model search for EMM in the 90s where Trump is front and center. The country is led by predators.

Don't forget the connection to Les Wexner (Abercrombie & Fitch, Victoria's Secret):
In February 2026, Representative Ro Khanna revealed that the FBI had once listed Wexner as a potential Epstein co-conspirator.[4] Wexner has denied involvement in any of Epstein's offending, and according to Epstein victim's lawyer Brad Edwards, there is no evidence to suggest Wexner was in the company of Epstein during his crimes.[5] In April 2026, several women who were victims of Epstein would file lawsuits against Les Wexner and the Wexner Foundation which alleged Wexner helped fund Epstein's sex trafficking network with $200 million he gave to Epstein from 1987 to 2007.[6]
