Disc 3 of Best of / Rest of features the UK 7” edit (3:46) of Bizarre Love Triangle, the same version already found on their Singles compilation.

Why didn’t they use the rare US 7” edit (3:36)? Both were mixed by Shep Pettibone, but the US version has only, as far as I know, been released as a promo 7”.

So yeah, now that this is available on CD I have been wondering: how's the remaster? Is it another hack job with tons of compression, loudness and low dynamic range like on the "Definitive Boxsets" or the 2023 Substance Re-issue? Or is it actually a good remaster?

I'd like to hear some opinions on this.

I noticed the original releases of these albums from years ago are the same

Any reason behind them not using a space and when I copy the deluxe CD into my music player should I use a space or not.

There's something really refreshing about a New Order song being stripped down to an acoustic ballad, and 1963 is the perfect song for it. Love how the acoustic guitars sound here. Brings a whole new feeling to the song.

Nothing else about the song seems different apart from the fact that the chorus says "we've got the world in motion". This means it's not one of the alternate versions from the original single and is in fact a new version with this one difference. Just seems like a weird decision.

I just wanted to make a massive shoutout to Peter and the band for bringing Get Ready all the way down to New Zealand.

I highly recommend trying to make a show! I even tried to fly up to Auckland to make the next show but flights were $$$$ :-(.

I am a huge Get Ready fan and pretty much all the new order I really listen too. I have listened to the album on daily repeat since 2001, crystal to run wild with no skips. So maybe not a die hard new order fan but a die hard get ready fan?

Some thoughts, while I was belting out every lyric to every get ready song.. I did somewhat feel the crowd was more there for the second half… but that didn’t take away from my enjoyable of the show! Their loss!

And part of the reason for this post is to encourage people to go back and give it another listen…. If you’re a fan of their older stuff.. give get ready a full play and new listen.

I didn’t realise that most of the guitar hooks are actually bass lines?? And man this gave me so much more appreciation for the album /music and apologies for being so naive, haha.

Lastly, blue Monday and love will tear us apart have not aged a day and still a banger in 2026!

I bought it when it came out but didn't pay enough attention to it. It feels like a continuation of Electronic's output if anything.
