Im gonna get hate from the Netflix lovers but I needed to vent so idc.

Netflix lost the plot completely and its crazy they don’t see where they went wrong. Prioritizing the worst shows ever because it gets a little social media attention is stewpid, Emily in Paris should’ve BEEN cancelled its a shit show with a shit plot, same with love is blind (love is clearly not blind—and Netflix sucks at reality tv, leave that genre to peacock/bravo). I also notice after stranger things finale was released a lot of shows started moving faster with production and were getting confirmed for new seasons almost instantly, so Netflix was also way in over their head with stranger things an because of it some really GREAT shows got cancelled.

I also saw an article of the CEO of Netflix blaming streamers for the fact people aren’t streaming anyomre, yeah definitely not the price increase, 8 episode seasons, their limited series being better than most Netflix originals, or yk the obvious one CANCELLING GOOD SHOWS (KAOS, the brothers son, grand army, the society, and soooooooooooo many more). Personally I’m not paying $20-$30 for the bare minimum, either reboot some of the good shows or genuinely shut up.

Actually I just realized how greedy this company is, doing price increases knowing damn well they’re getting paid by corporations to stream their ads.

It's right now trending on no.1 Netflix, anyone watched it ? Is it worth checking out ? I'm not much into k dramas. But it looks quite interesting, Share your thoughts.

How did you like this reimagining of WW1?

The show ended way too soon, and there’s still so much story left to tell. I’d love to see the original cast return, especially Sydney Sweeney as Emaline. Now that everyone is older, it feels like the perfect time to continue the series.

The East Palace has been fun so far through the first few episodes, but it has also made me pine for the action-horror-court intrigue of Kingdom, which Netflix STILL refuses to talk about all these years later.

Imagine you invest in Korean content to great fanfare and your very first offering is unversally praised by fans and critics alike, with people calling it flawless, gorgeously shot, with magnificent action and tight, tense plotting.

The reaction is beyond your wildest expectations, the show rockets to the top 10 in countries all over the world, the press is eagerly discussing what you'll do next.

Then you release a critically acclaimed second season and a special episode, which predictably does poorly because it features none of the familiar characters, very little promotion and is devoid of humor and heroism that counterbalances the violence and horror of the main show.

And that's it. You don't say a damn word about it again even as the actors say they want to continue with the series, the writer/showrunner says the same, and fans are begging for an update. One of the actors, a major crossover star, even shares a photo of a sign that says the show is in production, but still we hear nothing.

Who runs a business like that?

I think the show ended way too soon and there's still so much story left to tell. I'd love to see the characters return as teenagers since the kids are older now.

For animated stuff, I normally do dubbed and its fine but for Live action sometimes the dub just seems overly silly to me. I've heard this show is really good but was curious what people thought about the dubbed version, or if it's just better to go with subtitles. Thank you.

I’m looking for a good place to watch TV shows, and I’m only interested in series. I don’t want to rely on random streaming websites or questionable sources anymore I just want good quality and convenience.

I know streaming services can be a bit complicated these days. I used to have Netflix years ago (probably around five years back), but I eventually canceled it. I honestly don’t even remember why anymore most likely because I didn’t have enough time to watch. One thing that did frustrate me back then was that some shows didn’t have all the seasons available. I’d find a series with only Season 1 and 3, or just Seasons 2 and 3. It made watching pretty annoying.

Because of that, I eventually switched to Apple TV+, but I ended up leaving that as well. It has a handful of amazing TOP5 shows that everyone on Reddit recommends, but once you’ve watched those, it feels like there isn’t a huge library left.

So now I’m wondering if, after such a long break, Netflix is worth coming back to. What do you all think? I’ve been reading a lot of different opinions on Reddit, and it’s hard to tell what the general consensus is these days.

The biggest question is: what should I actually watch?
I love sci-fi, psychological thrillers, and horror. The thing is, I’ve already seen pretty much all the obvious recommendations Dark, Stranger Things, and most of the other big, popular titles. So I’m not really looking for those kinds of suggestions.

Are there any newer series that have come out over the last few years that are genuinely worth watching? I’d especially love recommendations that are a bit under the radar rather than the same titles everyone always mentions.

If it weren't free (w/ads) with our T-Mobile service, I'd cancel without a thought. There is really nothing worth watching any more, no big shows with greatly anticipated new seasons. It's a bunch of middling content and if you've been a customer for years, you've already seen the stuff worth watching. The new shows on now are network shows from years past and every now and then some decent content from AMC. Most of the shows that had good Season 1s fall flat in season 2, or take so long to arrive you can't even remember what they were about. It's hard to believe the amount of money wasted on just middling content (lookin' at you Harlen Coben). They should go for quality rather than quantity.

I sort by TV shows, mysteries, and 90% of what it suggests for me I've already seen and rated. Is Netflix suggesting that their content is so limited I should just rewatch things I've already seen?

Prove me wrong, my favorites have been Nordic Noir, Mindhunter, all the Mike Flanagan series (e.g. Midnight Mass), Bloodline, Ozark, Queen's Gambit, Dark, early Stranger Things, etc. Detective Hole was good. I'm probably leaving some out but what have I missed that is worth my time?

I read that the script for the Hawk was originally a HG2 script which makes perfect sense.

For the record, I really enjoyed both and surprisingly found that HG2 was better on rewatch (well the last 30ins were, as the first half was great anyway).

But having just watched the Hawk, it feels like they didn't change anything from the HG2 script other than the names.

Old Henry is obviously Chubbs.

The ex-wife could easily have been Julie Garner. They are estranged and she hates him.

Golden Fisk is obviously shooter.

Even the PGA guy character was the character from HG (can't remember the name) but that story makes sense too.

In pretty much every scene, you could just imagine Sandler saying the words. Trapped in a small car. Playing with a jar on his hand. Fixing his own injury.

So my question is, would HG2 have worked better with this outline of a plot than what we got?

The curator is 519mb. What in all the actual fecks is this all about? How are y'all paying for this service. My mums jumping on a plane so I just downloaded stuff for her and I've learnt that Netflix is a far bigger joke than I ever imagined. 100mb 55 minute episodes lol. And you pay money for that service... To watch like 480p....
