I’m so sorry fam, I posted the wrong order. THIS cost me $130

I posted this a week ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/nds/s/06BDjPg5wU saying it cost $285. That was another order that costs $285, this one is $130.

Basically under $1 a game. I read through everyone’s comments (love the feedback and advice) and it looks like there’s some keepers like Power Pros, Nintendogs, Monster Hunter, smash, Mario tennis, Mario basketball, Mariokart, tomodachi collection, Game Center CX, JUMP!, Kirby, AKB48, and some other gems. And yes, I plan on selling the rest to make my money back or better.

….the other order with the gameboy games for $285… well there’s other DS/3DS games but I think I’m cooked on that order lol let’s not talk about that one, ok?

is it possible to use those 200 in 1 games instead of buying a r4 card and micro sd card?

I looked on amazon and a few other places for r4 cards and a micro sd card and they are rlly expensive for some reason. I dont really know what to get specifically since a lot of posts say different things about what the requirements are for some games. Is it possible to just get a 200 in 1 game card, remove all the contents inside and use that instead or should i stick to getting a r4 card and micro sd.

Collecting classic physical games.

I posted an earlier version of this yesterday, in r/pokemon.
The short version of it is, that I miss physical games.
Newer games these days, typically require a connection to work.
And are partially or fully downloaded to the system.
The cartridge for some Switch2 games, doesn't even hold data anymore.
So I looked back to when internet was not required, and rarely even possible.
I expanded my list of games from my previous post.
Games that I would like to get someday.
The yellow outlined & whitened games, are the ones I already own.
The rest I either remember playing but not own, or would like to play someday.
Currently, I have 45 games listed here.

I am looking for suggestions / hidden gems to add.

Reshelled a broken DSI XL

I picked this up for $10 at my local swap meet. It had a broken hinge, otherwise, it's fine.

I ended up reshelling it. The buttons that came with the new shell were pretty poor quality, so I decided to reuse the original ones instead.

I think it turned out pretty nice! 🙌

GTA in the car

Feels like the backseat is still the best place to play some GTA.

Waiting on my partner to complete responsibilities at the revenue office. I decided to get some back seat nostalgia. 😌

Making it the best travel companion possible. I loaded thousands of mp3's onto the SD, Moonshell media player, all the Nintendo Libraries and also Sega Genesis and Mega Drive. Even put a little picture of me and my daughters for the Twighlight Menu background.
I'm going to change the battery in the DS to a more upgraded version as I've heard the original batteries can be a bit unstable. Gonna have to do a bit of studying up on that first. I do have a spare DS that i believe to have a new battery in it so probably just a case of swapping them over.
Kept me busy for a few hours and I seem to enjoy setting up consoles more than playing them at times lol

Recent Haul

I have a New 3DS XL already but I've been on the hunt for a reasonably priced DSi XL for a little while and I recently found one.

For pricing scale in Australia, New 3DS XL is going for about $400+ on the second hand market while DSi XL's can be found for $200-$250 in varying qualities.

Picked up the one pictured with games, Pokemon case and a charger, bartered the seller down to $130. It was a bit dusty and missing the stylus but I've given it a clean, the screens are in good condition and the casing has some splotching but otherwise its well kept. Got some screen protectors, a more practical case and a 3rd party stylus on the way in the post!
