Article ‘The Odyssey’ Proves It: Audiences Want Movies Made the Hard Way | This year's breakouts like 'Project Hail Mary' and 'Obsession' were made by filmmakers who sweated. While CG-stuffed franchise disappointments such as 'Supergirl,' 'Moana,' and 'The Mandalorian and Grogu' looked lazy.

Nolan read your comment and will now be making the Epic of Gilgamesh next in a cave, with a box of scraps

with a box of scraps

Don’t be rude, identify him by his name, Matt Damon.

I volunteer to be a box of scraps if I too get to look that good and have that much money at his age

Hell, I'd settle for looking that good and having that much money at my current age.

The Odyssey is what happens when we don't send anyone to rescue Matt Damon

Interstellar is what happens when we send someone, but it takes close to a decade for them to get to him.

The Martian is what happens when we send someone, but it still takes over a year.

Saving Private Ryan is what happens when it takes weeks for us to rescue him.

The Borne Identity is what happens when a random person rescues him before we can get to him.

Rescuing Matt Damon is basically a genre of movies at this point.

The studio is currently backing several dump trucks of cash up to his home trying to get him to do the iliad as a prequel.

Oh god. Just thinking of the budget they would allow for that is crazy lol

I can practically hear the elevator pitch.

"People love this. Let's give them more of it. Helen is the face that launched a thousand ships, and we'll build them for you".
