This is the way.
No kids to care for? You’re just exploring your hobbies, taking online courses, learning new skills, reading, etc.
They could accuse you of working from home but they shouldn’t be to get that information unless you let it slip or you’re running your own business. Your place of employment shouldn’t be giving out your information either, beyond confirming that you’re employed by them. I can’t imagine that it’s legal but certainly not ethical.
