This is why I love lying. You can’t legally enforce that where I live anyways.

They ask for pay stubs... like this is easily check-able through public documents, lol you think management firms arent vetting their tenants when they ask for 2.5X the rent in net income?

What public documents could you possibly mean…? And the paystubs won’t tell you whether their role is remote or not, it just verifies their income and place of employment.

Hell my paystub doesn't even mention the name of the company I actually work for as they're owned by a larger company.

Same. Mine has our corporate parent company listed with their address in CA, whereas I live and work in TN.

Place of employment. If said place doesn't have a local office, division or factory......

My paystubs have the corporate office address on them, which is ~1500 miles from the office I technically work out of, but I have a full remote job, and I'm 250 miles from my 'office'.

Good luck with that! There is zero obligation for HR to tell you anything about a specific person’s position and their duties in their company, including whether or not it involves any remote work.

In fact, it’s in their best interest to say nothing at all which is what they will likely do.

What? I’m not sure how you arrived at this completely unnecessary irrelevant comment, but I’m impressed that you committed to it. You really thought you ate with that.
