22 years of living in Madison, today was my first time at the Mustard Museum! 🥳🌭
I'm so amazed at how many different types of mustard there are! I love how there are hundreds of jars from Wisconsin alone! The staff were very friendly and I really enjoyed the mustard bar with pretzels. I ended up getting the Edmond Fallot Dijon mustard and it is great on chicken sandwiches!

Kids book read at Elm Lawn Grad School, Middleton in the 1950s
Okay, Boomers! A long shot, but it's bothering me. I've tried everything and google and the Library of Congress could not help me find the title. I remember this vividly but not the title. A king or a rich man, who lives in a castle (mansion) on a hill, surrounded by trees. He apparently owns the forest and decides to have them cut down to make himself even richer. He doesn't realize what he's done until the treeline gets to his castle. TIA!

Anyone else notice that strong perfume-like smelly cloud near the Kwik Trip off of Century, Southridge and County Q tonight?
As I exited the Kwik trip I was smacked in the face by this strong smell, which I first thought was similar to fireworks, but it was obnoxiously like perfume. There was a visible cloud moving down the hill at the ground and about a meter high.
It was horrible, and I wondered if someone was fumigating for insects as it did have a slight Deep Woods Off scent to it.
A co-workers suggested that it may have come from the Bishops Bay golf course, if they were spraying pesticides, but I'm pretty sure the golf course is lower in elevation than the area North of the Kwik Trip.
Did anyone else smell this or does anyone have an explanation for what it was?

Where can I put flyers for my paid violin lesson service?
I'm moving here and want to continue my violin lesson service. Any advice or ideas on where I can put my flyers? Library said no because the lessons are not free, which is understandable.

Has anyone used Lawn Snow LLC for home renos?
Hey everyone, I’m new to the area and just picked up a property that needs some serious TLC—specifically a full bathroom renovation (looking to do a curbless shower) and a total roof replacement.
I’ve been shopping around for quotes and recently heard back from **Lawn Snow LLC**. Their estimate seems fair and I’d love to roll both projects into one contract, but I’m a little hesitant because they seem like a smaller operation and I don't have a local network to vet them yet.
Their Google photos show they handle a huge variety of projects, but since a curbless shower requires some pretty specific waterproofing and structural work, I want to make sure I’m in good hands.
Has anyone here hired them for interior remodeling or roofing? Were they reliable, and did the quality of the finish work hold up?
Appreciate any feedback
