Competitive/Discussion NEXT PACK

Post image
224 Upvotes

some ppl are saying its rda and dark lords
but it feels 2much + getting 2 packs with no new archtypes / decks is intresting including that we are still lacking clown crew & power patron

if some 1 is wondering we are still lacking the following

dark lord support / fur hire / gmx / charmers / clown crew / red dragon archfiend / doom z / power patron / dominus Spark / tcg exc

so 2 new decks / 6 supports / 1 stable ( crown and accusation are dark lord cards ) / some random good cards genie + fata dragna + convex

Competitive/Discussion What archetypes would you pick to get revolution booster support?

I wanted to include a pend archetype but I'm not familiar with many so if I had to pick one then Symphonic Warrior. I like their artwork.

Meme About surrendering

As a newcomer, im curious what the consensus is around this topic.

I honestly feel like the decision to give you no mission progress or rewards if you surrender is a pretty poor design choice, specially in a game where turns can take several minutes at a time and some times (at least as a new player) you already know you've lost.

Instead of just moving on to the next game, you're basically incentivized to sit there for another 5-10 mins watching your opponent finish their combo because if you leave you get literally nothing.

I get they probably wanted to stop people from abusing rewards by insta-conceding, but it feels like it punishes normal players way more than anyone trying to exploit the system. It almost feels like the game is telling you to wait until your opponent finishes playing solitaire or miss out on your rewards.

idk, maybe you just get used to it after a while, but as a new player it honestly feels like one of the worst first impressions the game could give.

im really curious to know what people thing because i dont know if I missing something?

Competitive/Discussion Today I start a new run...

Post image
Upvotes

So I wanted to start a new style of run today. New to me at least, others have probably done this before although I have not seen it.

It starts out the same way a masochist run starts... open just enough masterpacks to get a 40 card deck. That is what you see in the photo (apologies for the poor quality). I opened 6 packs as I pulled 8 extra deck cards.

But while the masochist run gets to open a new masterpack and any awarded legacy packs when they win, instead when I win a match I will do it a little differently. I will look at my opponent's deck and choose one card to take from it to add to my deck to improve it. A little like the show did in Battle City.

I can pick from their main deck or their extra deck but I can only pick 1 card per win. I don't necessarily have to play it immediately (I.e. if i pick Polymerisation for future use but have no current targets).

The goal is to eventually get to Master, starting at Rookie.
