I see people here still have no idea what that means..

Which is funny because these same people will go on about "Flat as Justice" one minute.
Then turn around and equate boyishness to that exact body type in this situation, lmao.

Guys, you should stop saying the same stuff again and again.
Yeah, appearance wise author tries to engage in "gap moe the tomboy" premise. Tomboy characters are unfortunately very commonly used for gap moe, which I hate it if they are nothing but that gap moe machine; meaning tomboy erasure of kind. They should be used rarely to enhance the moment.
I really like casual, cool attires on tomboy characters, and am absolute short hair enjoyer too.
But the "tomboy" term here primarily means personality. And it's not about boobs size, nor about short hair. It's always been personality first, attires and look are personal and societal reflection of it.

Have you read the manga? The character here is also typically wearing t-shirts, jeans/shorts, and other stereotypical manga tomboy clothes.
This image is just a special illustration to show off the "tomboy in girly clothes" gap moe trope that tomboy manga love to use.

I don't even know what's supposed to distinguish a manga tomboy from your average wish fulfillment beauty besides the fact that they have short hair and a single fang tooth for some reason. Like it's basically just a 10/10 model with G-cups and perfect skin (despite allegedly being outside doing sports so often) so it doesn't even matter that she doesn't wear makeup, there's never a true rejection of gender norms since she'll always put on the dress and act "proper" when asked.

I’m so jealous of the unrealistic boob physics here. They’d be hanging way lower irl 💀

but she bra?

You can see her entire middle back and neck, and there are no straps here. You couldn't wear a bra strong enough to lift you that high in a sundress, anyway.
A push-up that strong would look like american football padding under a dress that delicate and thin, lmao.

Alright I'm gonna say it. This series massively improved after the arc with MC's sister. The romance no longer feels stunted. They're a lot more emotionally open. A lot more affectionate with each other. It's in a good place right now. The plot finally matches this artwork.
Unfortunately I think the scanlator may have dropped it. So you'll either have to go on MangaUp or look at other websites to find the recent chapters.

this one looks too tall to be a shortstack(uzaki

There's nothing to determine scale. She could just have a long torso and short legs (I've seen this in real life plenty of times).

Good call. Just going by the art as it's posted. Since you read it, what makes her "boyish" besides her short hair?
1
u/Lost-Video7316 4h ago
personality.
that's why chose "boyish" looks, haircut, clothes, activities. etc
but now that she hit puberty, female hormones full swing, she's slowly transitioning to femininininity

Ah. Is it similar to "Tomo-chan is a Girl"?
1
u/Lost-Video7316 3h ago
haven't finished that one. but the start is similar in that they both want to experience love

Tomboys are defined by their interests, hobbies and behavior. Not the size of their tits, for the 1000th time.
