So a while ago I discovered a bunch of anime dvds in my house and the collection includes Macross Plus including the movie edition and my relative recommended me it since it has mechs (because I watched a mecha anime called "Full Metal Panic!") and that it actually has something to do with our current society something to do with AI however I added it to my watchlist and I watched all of evangelion from the first episode all the way to the last. So now that it is summer I'm planning on watching macross Plus. If there is anything that I need to know about the og series that I wouldn't understand in plus can anyone explain things? Thank you!!

Its all this forum fault. The sudden feed popping up made me want to watch it again. The animation still holds up as does the destruction. I wonder why humanity suck so much against the Marduk. Like were they just sucide bombing the eath pilots or just outfighting them or was it more advance tech?

However after all of that when the Marduk and Earth signed a peice treaty. It struck me as funny when they had Wendy Ryder closed if out.

I mean think about it. Earth defense is in tatters, hundreds of thousands if not millions were dead possible more, whole cities were level and when it all end on a solemn note with a peice treaty we get this.

Earth admiral: How should we close out this somber atmosphere.

Other Earth admiral: I dunno, how about having that young pop singer shake her ass and sing a song?

I finally achieved my dream of seeing all the series and movies. Literally decades of waiting to see it here in the USA. Thank you Disney Plus.

While I love the detail on the movie missile pods and reaction missiles, I felt the AMM-1 TV missiles were lacking a bit. For one thing, they didn't have the red color on the back.

So I designed my own version based on the line-art from the Macross Mecha Manual. They're not as smooth with FDM color printing, but I like the detail. The hardpoints, unfortunately are very delicate, and the pegs tend to break off, even with a resin print.

As a fan of both Macross and Transformers, I knew I had to get the new Basara Prime figure. He is both stupid and amazing at the same time, which I suppose is fitting for a toy based on Basara. The "truck" mode is especially, "WTF?" in the best way possible!

I posted this earlier, and people asked for the file. I previously uploaded the original taller version on Cults3d. I'm showing photos of the two to compare, along with a top down image of the boxes to see how all the accessories fit in.

I was asked on a recent post if there is any macross following in greece, and that made me pretty curious to see if there really is any, and thus am asking on the sub to see if anyone knows more than i do, as google. instagram and facebook didn't really help me.

Finally have room to start a collection of figures and model kits, but ultimately would like to feature them in a type of battle diorama for display.

Just 4 weeks ago I started a community class in embroidery, and thought you might enjoy seeing my first completed project, a 3 1/2” diameter Macross SDF patch.
