I’ve been working on the visual style for my solo-developed survival horror game and wanted to lean into a late-90s PlayStation aesthetic. Everything is built around fixed camera angles, low-poly environments, and deliberately chunky textures to capture that era.
I’d really appreciate any feedback on the visuals. Does it feel authentic to the PS1 style, or is there anything that stands out as looking too modern or out of place?

I HAD NEVER animated a 4-legged creature before.

And then I had to animate an 8-legged creature in a single day!

This was the result.

Inspired by the 1999 Phantom Menace Pepsi vending machines! I didn't model anything myself, the models are pulled from Star Wars: Super Bombad Racing on PS2, and the backgrounds are from Battlefront II, but I thought this would be the most appropriate community for these:)
