I bought a used Nexus off Marketplace and I want to get it to be able to pump a bit to help with getting more distance. It came with Bennett Vector trucks and their stock bushings along with Otang In Heat 83a wheels. I have some Kegel 80a and a set of mint Seismic Alphas on the way, either of which I can use on this board, but am open to other suggestions.

I’m about 240lbs, 5’ 10”. I think the front truck is probably good for what I want and I’m guessing I need to replace the back truck to make it more stable, but I am relatively new and dunno what a good option is. Also, what kind of bushings would y’all recommend?

I got into board sports a long time ago starting with electric skateboards, then moved through onewheels and EUCs, and eventually landed on longboarding. These days it's what I ride the most.

My first longboard was a Pantheon Trip × Loaded collab. I couldn't even ride at the time, but the graphics were so good I bought it on impulse anyway. It sat in storage for years before I actually started riding it a few months ago.

The Trip looks great, but the ride feel just wasn't my style, so I picked up a Supersonic, and more recently tried a budget LEPSK8 integrated TKP board along with a zero-degree rear truck from AliExpress. The pumping felt so good that it got me interested in a G|Bomb board too.

Sorry for the long intro — the actual point is: I never really loved how the Pantheon Trip rides, so I'd always been curious about the Pranayama. Even Jeff (Pantheon's founder) has said it's his favorite board.

That said, I didn't want to take on another big purchase/experiment, so I decided to swap the Bear 155mm TKP trucks off my Loaded Poke and onto the Trip instead.

I finally did it today, and it's honestly a completely different board now. It rides super low but still feels stable, and turning is incredibly easy. Is this close to what the Pranayama feels like?

The one thing giving me pause is that I've seen posts saying TKP trucks aren't recommended for the Trip. Is it safe to keep riding it this way, or is the neck likely to snap soon?

Would love to hear from anyone who's actually run TKP trucks on a Trip.

Soooooo, after some hounding I managed to convince Seismic to offer split duro sets of the Megawatts for us sickos that want to try split durometer setups.

I have been wanting to either get another setup in addition to my supersonic board. I love it but it would be nice to have another set up or some different trucks just to have a different riding, feel on some days.

I have been looking at these brackets lately. And thinking about getting a platform, unless there is specifically a board that's not more than about two hundred.That would be better than a supersonic, or just more fun.

I'm hoping to get some feedback from people that have used these products or know a lot about them. There is three pictures, and I'd really like to know anyone that has gotten the new paris savant trucks, and what they think of them, and if they make a difference on the supersonic?

Also last picture, the lean only truck. What if you put that on a supersonic?

Hi community. Does anyone know how to change the bushings on the Don´t Trip Poppys?
Do i have to remove the kingpin for that. I got a pair of used ones on ebay and have to change the bushings.
And if i have to remove the kingpin... do i have to heat it, etc?

Hey all. I have a SZ truck (I think Hex, idrk or remember lol) . It's wedged 21° iirc. I weigh 220 lbs and I like the feel of the board and stuff, but man, the front truck is giving me some problems. I had a Green APS (75A?) barrel bushing boardside with a purple 70a(?) cone, and I sorta liked that, but now I have a Krank cone in 83a(?( Lol)) on the roadside, and frankly I am in utter disbelief, why does nothing feel like "it"? And can I get some help on tuning please for the love of all things good and holy please help me dear God I need help lol

I have a Landyachtz Ripper that's, well, not too used but I'd like to take the few days of respite from European heatwaves to take it out a bit.

One thing I'd really like is to just ride around and chill, but pushing only gets this far and pumping looks really really cool.

So, double question:

- My board is clearly out the box. Do I need to change anything in order to make it easier? Bushings, trucks, wheels?

- What's the best ressource you have on actually getting pumping? Like exercises and whatnot. Whole thing still looks like witchcraft to me.

What an amazing setup! It just want to go forward.

I can even pump it uphill.

My previous board was a Sector Nine Carbonite with Gullwing charger 50 degrees. I wedged and dewedged the more that I can (10 on front and -7 back) it pumped, but it doesn't compare at all with the Superduper.

A friend of mine almost give me the trucks and wheels, he wanted someone that can follow him!

I think I made a good choice of board.

…so I think I can start considering myself as a LDP skater, right? :D

I am super stoked as so far I was riding 7 to 14km loops only, however recently I’ve tried putting those McFly’s on my first board - I thought these will be too big for it and ride height will be to high but since I’ve swapped the trucks for Ace Classic lows it is still very low and rides like a dream!

Regarding the individual's recent post concerning the failure of their light flex supersonic tail (and maintaining complete impartiality, it is important to acknowledge that the board's maintenance, usage, and storage conditions remain unknown),

It has unlocked fully my fear of breaking my supersonic before its time.

Anyone that has the knowledge - what contributes to more force or pressure on the tail? And how to avoid breaking the board in general?

I assume wedges, wheel size , and overall ride height can greatly impact how much force is applied to the curvature of the board.

I would like to understand this more thoroughly.

Do I need to stick to a wiggle pump to preserve my ride and kingpin? Bc I am only around 140lbs and ride a light flex super but I often ride where I really throw my body into each back and forth pump and the board flexes each time as my weight settles into it & then it propels my light ass self into the next pump.

Its an awesome feeling when i hit that groove ... but in worries now about breakage and premature wear.

Tail cracked on my Pantheon Superdupersonic on Sundays ride, fortunately I was close to my vehicle so I didn’t have to hike out.

I got the board in late October last year, soft flex, and have logged approximately 1k miles on the board. I have used both Hokus and Karmas on this setup.

I am totally lost on what to do now. The board is less then a year old, I know they wear but I was expecting to get more life out it then this. I just bought precision trucks and Karmas so my hobby funds are low right now.

Thinking about cutting it and ordering a Lepsk8 torsion tail but I’m concerned I won’t enjoy that and will be out more cash.

There are no Medium flex SuperSonics available if I try to replace it. I did reach out to Pantheon but haven’t heard back yet, I am expecting this to be a wear and tear issue. Idk what do you guys think? Does 8 months/1,000miles seem like the life span to expect?

I was looking at a Zennit Draft but they are sold out.

I ride mostly bike paths. Usually 20 miles or more. Pump as much as possible, I have recently been exploring the roads around my favorite bike path which has much larger hills. I am interested in continuing to do LDP style rides, with the capability to hit some decent down hill speeds. I have only topped out at 28 but I’d like to work on that.

Please help I am not prepared to try and replace my primary board. I thought I’d have more time to build out a quiver from market place and have a solid plan for my next ride.

Hey, im looking at getting a new board, i haven't ridden in like 10 or so years now.

I have an old Santa cruz drop through deck thats pretty cracked, and I've put on the pounds a bit. I dont want to tempt fate to break my board mid ride.

Im about 5 months post spine fusion surgery. Looking for gear advice. Thank you!

Anyone tried the app. Does it work for pumping & is able to sync with Strava skateboard & provides all the data similar to running which I am currently using like average speed, distance, HR, etc

So a lot of the precision TKPs say they come in 11 degrees or 25 degrees, but what angle are they talking about? CGB for example says their 25 degree TKP front pairs well with their negative 35 degree RKP rear, so we’re clearly not measuring the same thing between them or it would barely turn, and backwards.

Any insight would be appreciated, and any other precision TKPs to look at other than Bhangers, Lepsk8, or CGB?

Wanting to maybe try hokus or dad bods as I’ve bottomed out a few times on the path I skate where tree roots have lifted some of the asphalt and made mini speed bumps that will throw me off if I look at them wrong. Have been able to avoid them mostly but it definitely interrupts the flow having to look out for them everywhere.

Would the extra half centimeter or so of ride height make that much a difference? Or should I look at throwing together a top mount pumper for those trails with heavy roots.
