Small clarification since it came up: the game is free to play with no limit — the €3.99 is optional extra content (more word packs / effects / longer games), not needed to play.
Play it here: https://saboteur.playsaboteur.workers.dev/
I built a pass-and-play party game for the situation where everyone is in the same room, nobody wants to install anything, and there are not enough controllers. One phone gets passed around the table - that is the entire setup.
How it plays: everyone draws the same word, except one player who is the secret saboteur. The saboteur does not just draw badly - they trigger things on other people canvases while those people are mid-drawing. Then everyone votes on who was behind it.
3-8 players, runs in any browser, free, no account, no download.

I threw Infernax on one day and didn't know it had coop. My wife and I loved it and just finished it yesterday.
Anything similar to this? Specifically a side scroller action game where intense platforming isn't the main focus.

I solo-developed D.I.P.: Dormouse Is Painting, with a bit of help from the more artistically inclined members of my family. After a year of work, it's still in an early stage. Nevertheless, I've just published the Steam page with some alpha gameplay footage and screenshots.
r/localmultiplayergames seems like the best place to get honest (but not too harsh) player feedback on whether this project might be of any interest.
You can find the Steam page here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4819590/DIP/
I'm planning to launch a playtest before the end of this year, release a fully playable demo in early 2027, and hopefully launch the full game soon after.
Here's the Steam pitch:
"Rush to the bucket, dip into the paint, hook onto the ceiling, and smear your colorful body all over the walls... Oh, and you're a cute dormouse.
Paint fast, grab bonuses, and become the top dormouse among your friends in D.I.P.: Dormouse Is Painting, a chaotic local party game for up to 4 players."
I'd love to hear your honest thoughts—what looks fun, what doesn't, and what you'd change.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Hey everyone
As a team of 5 people from Kraków, we've been crafting Loco: Rails & Tails for over two years now, and we just launched our open playtests on Steam (running until August 3rd)
If you're looking for something fun to play with friends this week, it’s a chaotic couch-co-op style game set in the Wild West where you play as animal heroes keeping a train running. We draw a lot of inspiration from games like Overcooked and Unrailed!, and it supports both online and local co-op
If you and your friends decide to hop on the train, we would be super grateful for any thoughts you can share
Play on Steam:https://store.steampowered.com/app/3576920/Loco_Rails_Tails/

Hi I've been working on an Open Source version of the popular JS Joust party game for the past ten years! Hold your controller still and try to jostle your opponents while paying attention to the music as it speeds up and slows down, includes 12 different game modes, werewolves, traitors, FFA, teams and others!
Just updated the windows version with a bunch of new features, updates, and bug fixes. The game also runs on a Raspberry pi (which has been tested up to ~30 players simultaneously, you know if you really want to have a party) More info and installation here: https://github.com/adangert/JoustMania

A friend showed us this game and it's been our go to for a while now. Rules are dead simple
You're incentivized to go for the lower items, but still without guessing outside the top 10 and busting. It’s a gamble. 2-4 players works well. You can just google the top 10 lists and keep track of the points from round to round. My friends and I did build a free iOS app (link) and website (link) that handles the topics and scoring if you want the convenience, but the game doesn't need it. Have fun.

I've been polishing the UI for my local multiplayer Android party game and would really appreciate some fresh eyes on it.
This update includes:
My goal is to make everything feel clean, intuitive, and fun to navigate before I add more content.
I'd love your thoughts on:
I'm looking for honest feedback. Thanks for helping me improve it!
