About the adventure

The rival you make in your first trimester is still your problem in your fourth year. Nothing here resets. This is a magical academia campaign, where you live the life of a student, spending four years learning the ways of the arcane and finding your own identity.

What to expect: real finals played out as scenes, where it could be from a game of sport all the way to going out into dungeons searching for relics, no one roll deciding your term. Martial classes who are not as skilled in magic are granted relics that sharpen what they already do and allow them to do things Core DND would not allow, so nobody's outshined by the casters.

We also have a range of house rules that change how combat feels (crits, death saves, bonus-action potions, full list on listing) and how magic works. Also downtime, rumours, and rivalry get just as much table time as fights.

My campaigns are very character-focused, roleplay-heavy, and feature a ton of custom content from magic items to races. I build these campaigns from scratch starting with the players ideas so the stories you want to explore are the central focus! We play D&D 5e with a variety of homebrewed rules and edits. My sessions feature custom music, ambiance, 3D maps, interactive menus, and more through Foundry VTT.

All sessions are online and require Discord and a browser for Foundry. If you have a system that cannot support the 3D maps, I stream the games to a private Youtube channel for players to watch during or after the sessions. These campaigns last around 3-5 years!

If I feel something you created isn't balanced, I will work with you to make it balanced so you can still play the way you want no matter what content you are using! Whether it’s a homebrew campaign or a module I will center the story around player characters and integrate their backgrounds into the story.

I've been dungeon-mastering homebrew campaigns and modules for around 10 years. The campaign opens with your escape from the Drow patrol marching you deeper into the dark. I’ve been DMing since the original release of 5th Edition in 2014, and professionally since 2020. Over the last few years, I’ve run Dungeons of Drakkenheim to completion for multiple groups, along with dozens of one-shots set in the wider world of Drakkenheim.

This is one of my favorite campaigns to run because it gives players real freedom: dangerous choices, complicated factions, meaningful consequences, and plenty of room for memorable character moments.

You’re the first survey team sent to explore a newly discovered planet that no one has ever been to.

It’s a shattered region of space, where navigating between star systems requires
maps, a retrofitted starship, and a captain foolish enough to expose their crew to
its hazards; the Drift won’t help you here. Crews still brave it, though, as being
first to survey a new location usually brings fame and a substantial paycheck.

Recently, a map to a previously uncontacted world appeared at auction, and its

winner selected the player characters (PCs) as the initial team to survey the site.

The only information known about this place is its location and name: Oamnil.
