I will be running this years free rpg day adventure-The archivists curse on Friday july 24th at 7pm EST. The session will last two hours. Vaesen is a year zero engine RPG focused around Scandinavian monster hunting. Materials will be provided. We will use pregens that are built for this specific scenario for the game. I've not played the system before, but have been looking at lore videos and gently poking at the mountain of rules.
I tend to like Exploration and Combat the most as pillars, but definitely enjoy roleplaying, especially between player characters.

Hi folks, I'm looking to DM a short campaign (4-8 sessions) of Mothership: Sci-Fi Horror RPG, with the possibility of running further campaigns in Mothership or a different system if everyone is interested.

I'm Kevin (he/him, 40s), I was a DM for AD&D 2E way back when and lately have been mostly into "story games" like Fiasco or The Quiet Year, but I got the itch to run a campaign last year and became really interested in Mothership.

For those who are not familiar, Mothership is an award-winning, rules-light RPG about space horror. You'll encounter alien lifeforms, extra-dimensional intelligences, and the most horrifying thing of all: extreme-late-stage capitalism. It's heavily influenced by classic sci-fi horror films like Alien and The Thing, but it's explicitly anti-canon, and we'll be doing our own world-building as we go. Space turns out to be pretty queer; the official character sheet has a designated space for your character's pronouns, and I'll be running an LGBTQIA+-friendly campaign. Finally, the player's guide PDF is FREE if you want to get a sense of the game.

I'm based in Saint Paul, so I'd prefer to meet up somewhere in Saint Paul or Minneapolis. I would like to meet once every 2-3 weeks on a schedule, but I'm flexible about which weekday evening we meet. I'm thinking sessions would be 6-9pm, but I'm flexible on time too.

Style: It's a horror game, so plenty of tension, and combat tends to be deadly (the average character lasts about 4 sessions before they die), but when characters die there are ways to insert a new character into the ongoing action. I'll be running things "seriously" for the most part but players are free to make jokes / be less serious.

__**What tf is Sanctum**__?

Sanctum is a place started up to share the fun of the thing that brought (nearly) all of us to this server. Playing Cyberpunk. A variety of gigs are hosted all throughout the week with typically 5-6 gigs a week being thrown out there. They'll range from anything between the light-hearted and silly to a struggle just to survive, but, at the end of the day, the philosophy behind it all is "Play the character, not the game."

__**Setting:**__

It's (as the time of this posting) July 22nd 2077. It's the Night City most of us are familiar with only a few changes here and there. (Sadly, some of the people who got here before you decided to break a few ~~people~~ things and now the rest of us have to deal with it.) The sun is ~~causing cancer~~ shining in the sky where the mega buildings don't block it. The water ~~causes cancer~~ is only a slight shade of brown. And the birds are still ~~carrying the plague~~ corporate operated drones meant to infringe on what little privacy you thought you had. See? The usual.
